“Wonderful weekend in Denver”
This was a great place to stay, the restaurant and jazz lounge were wonderful. Being from a small town, the traffic was a bit intimidating, but having onsite, off street parking was a real plus. Only downside was the heating system was rather noisey. The full size fridge and stove were a real plus for me. I would definitely stay here again!
“Great place to stay!”
The staff was friendly and courteous and the complimentary shuttle was a wonderful benefit!! The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Ruth
“A pampered night away.”
Having stayed at the Burnsley before, I suspected that the lower cost offered through Expedia would mean a less desirable suite. I was right. I found myself backed up to an alley and overlooking several parking lots. Some of the furnishings were "shabby chic". Despite that, the night view of the heart of Denver was gorgeous! The Burnsley is my favorite hotel in Denver.
“Very happy”
We stayed in a King suite on the corner of the fifteenth floor. What a great view of downtown Denver and the mountains! The sunrise and sunset was visible from the balcony. The staff was very friendly and not too formal. The free 24 hour parking and internet was a big plus. They have a shuttle bus that will bring you anywhere within three miles. Still not too sure about how good the location is without a car because we drove everywhere. However, bed=super comfortable. Very good breakfast, but forgot to purchase room coupons beforehand. All in all, I was very happy with the Burnsley and always looked forward to returning to the room.
“One of Denver's Finest”
One of the best "all suites" experiences I've had (great rooms, helpful staff) and very much enjoyed the residental neighborhood while only a short into town.
“A capital find.”
Was quite happy: had a downtown facing room (small apartment really !) w/ a fabulous view (can't promise the other directions are as exciting) Staff was friendly and attentive; the dining room had a good selection of dishes, quality was fine and prices reasonable. Location is a fairly quiet residential area, which makes the place seem more isolated than it really is (downtown is a reasonable 10-20' walk)...whether/not you like this will depend, I guess, on whether you're seeking tranquility or excitement.
“Great Place to stay”
Although the rooms need some renovations everything else was outstanding: Staff, cleanliness, bed comfort, transportation available in a 3 mile radius, dining, bar, and price.
“very nice”
This was a very spacious hotel (except for the narrow hallways)with large rooms. We had 4 sliding doors going on to the balcony with a great view. The staff were very helpful/friendly. We would definitely return.
“Very nice alternative to downtown”
The room was a bit tired (carpet, paint on paint on paint, a little musty smelling...) but those things don't bother me that much. I was upgraded to a corner room suite which was huge and good for getting work done. The staff was very friendly and the shuttle was almost always ready to take me downtown and pick me up (there are busy times like right at 8am and 5pm). I did walk from the 16th St Mall one evening. I will stay there again; my wife would be harder to convince. Overall a good deal.
“Perfect Place Downtown Denver”
Great place, big big rooms, close to shopping(less than 10 minutes in car to cherry creek). Tasty food. A little bit tight in the parking house for a suv. the corridor to the rooms is narrow but this is minor things. My best hotel stay for the price ever. Upgraded a little bit to get on the higher floors and about 700 sqf. friendly staff and great service with free shuttle within 6 miles or something. Enjoy!! Also tried Stringsrestaurant, great place, food, service and within range of shuttle.
