“Fort Morgan's best hotel for a great deal!”

I was very impressed with this hotel! The managers were very nice and very helpful. They welcomed me with a smile and gave me the comfort that I was being treated as a first class customer. The rooms are clean and are kept clean every three days. I never had problems getting more coffee, blankets or using their on-site laundry facility.

Hotel is nothing fancy, but for the price it is more than expected.

“High Price for Super 8”

The room was nice but over priced for Super 8 but not too many good choices in Sterling area. We only stayed there because they allowed dogs. The hotel information does not say they charge extra fee for pets until you check in. I may of reconsidered staying there if I had known about extra fee. They also tried to give me one queen bed when I reserved two beds. We checked in at 4:30pm so no other guest were there. They have a city park next to hotel so it was nice for dog. Three fast food restraunts within walking distance. Breakfast was usual carbs plus a banana.

“Stinks”

We stayed at this hotel on a very warm (80+ degree) October evening. When we arrived at our room I turned on the A/C which immediately began pumping cooled outside air into the room. The hotel sits next to a facility that must be a processing plant as the odor was extremely unpleasant. Soon our room was smelling too. I shut down the A/C before it became unbearable, but the damage was already done. We spent a restless night in a smelly and hot room, not at all conducive to sleep. The room at one time had obviously been arranged for two queen beds, but the one nearest the window had been removed with no other decorating done. The TV console therefore faced a blank wall. The remaining bed was within one foot of the wall near the bathroom. There was no bedside stand or light on that side of the bed, so reading was impossible and the TV was certainly at a weird angle. The other end of the room was virtually empty. in on corner a microwave sat on a safe and in the other there was a straight back chair. The lamp, other than the one in the center of the room near one side of the bed, was a floor lamp (with short cord) next to the TV---who needs a lamp by the TV? Between the smell, the temperature, the lack of light for reading during a sleepless night all made this a place I would not recommend. It it had not been for the non refundable policy with which I booked, we would have moved on.
