“Pleasant stay at the Central”
It was purely by accident that I ended up staying at the Central Hotel due to last minute booking, but it ended up being a every pleasant surprise and I will definitely book there again.The staff were very friendly and the room warm, clean and comfortable.
“Cheap and a good City Center Location”
Despite the first appearence of the hotel doubling as an estate agenency / realitor business on the ground / 1st floor entrance its actually a good place to stay. The room we stayed in was reasonibly clean, it had a small kitchen with refrigirator and micro -wave.. A feature that my wife likes when we are travelling since we can save a few $$$ by cooking ourselves and add to our dinning out $$$ for a good meal (and more cocktails) at a great local resturant. My only complaint was the bathroom did not have a radiator (heater) and since we travelled to England when it was experiecing one of its worst winters for decades, it was most definitely chilly after a shower. This issue was easily overcome by keeping the bathroom door open. In conclusion, if you like wasting money on an expensive hotel, stay elsewhere. If you want cheap, clean and safe night then consider this one.

“Okay if you want a room and a bed”
The room is quite small with the ensuite containing only a shower, nothing wrong with the cleanliness of the hotel. Bear in mind that this is self-catering only but their is a fridge and microwave in the room. Basic but comfortable
“Paul and Helen weekend stay March 2012”
Hotel well situated for shops, entertainment and eating out. One way system to approach hotel confussing at first and limited parking at rear. Hotel room adequate but a little on the small side. Nice touch having fridge and microwave to self cater, although room not big enough to eat comfortably without table and chairs. Would consider staying there again in future.
