“Would like to stay there again”
Very friendly staff, excellent apartment and good location. The only drawback was that the apartment only had a view of the back garden, but then we got an apartment with two bedrooms instead of only one. So, no complaints.
“Great Experience”
The hotel was ideal for the party of three. Great accommodation, convenient location, friendly staff. Shopping and eating out fantastic. Can't wait to return as our stay was far too short.
“Lovely Central apartments”
A group of us stayed at in 2 x 2 bedroom apartments in Glasgow Lofts for the first time 14th August, and were extremely impressed by the furnishings, cleanliness, and general attention to detail. The parking is not signposted, but the staff are most helpful in directing you. The only slight downside was that the bedrooms were very warm and we had to leave the windows open overnight, letting in all the noise from the street below. It WAS quite noisy! Spotlessly clean, and loved the 2 shower rooms and jacuzzi bath. Not usual to find accommodation that does match up to the advertisment.
“Excellent Service”
We arrived before out check in time and the staff allowed us to check in anyways. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The rooms were very nice and clean. The location was perfect. It was within walking distance to many of the local attractions. The price was very reasonable for the accomodations. If I were to return I would definetly stay at the Glasgow Lofts again.
“Meets expectations”
If you want to experience the great city of Glasgow this is the place to stay if you prefer a well appointed apartment rather than an hotel. Magnificent views are a bonus. Quality fittings and equipment and everything from the wifi to the washing machine worked without a hitch. The Glasgow hop on hop off bus can be catched just down the road which is a great intro for walking and exploring later
“Very Impressed!!!”
Everybody were super friendly and helpful. I would definately stay at this hotel the next time I go to Glasgow.
“So Impressed”
Upon arriving by taxi at the building we were greeted by the very friendly consierge who directed me to the office to fill in the needed paperwork and receive the keys. We proceeded up to the room and were absolutely amazed when we opened the door to see the most beautiful loft. It had a beautiful room with leather sectional couch, large TV, table and chairs and a kitchen with granite countertops. The bedroom was separate and very roomy and the bathroom was also amazing. I cannot believe I got this room for $120.00 Canadian when I was paying more in British pounds for much less elsewhere. I would definitely recommend The Glasgow Lofts +++++++
“Freedom and space”
For a family of four it's a nightmare finding child-friendly facilities at a reasonable cost. This was just exactly what we wanted having stayed at a similar (at least in concept) hotel in Reims. The apartment is about four times the size of a hotel suite. Two excellent bathrooms (one with a jacuzzi bath as well as a decent shower) complete with fancy soaps - my daughters were delighted with this touch. Sauchiehall St is 2 mins walk away with all the main shops so you can just pop out to buy M&S goodies for supper! Wi-Fi proved reliable albeit not a full-strength signal. TV and DVD on freeview(if I was being picky it wasn't especially up-to-date but it worked OK) and DVDs to loan. All in all an excellent place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. A tad noisy at night but to be expected for a city centre location.
“Great for small or extended families!”
The apartment was excellent for a family like mine, with a 1-year-old infant. And the staff ensured that the travel cot and baby high chair were set-up when we arrived, which was more than I expected since hotels would usually do these things after you have checked-in. The entire place was very stylishly furnished and designed and the kitchen was a treat, with all its modern appliances and clean lines. I would take away half a star for the not-so-friendly male reception staff and the very noisy heater/boiler that hums on whenever the hot water flows. It was a problem for us as the boiler room was right next to the bedroom where baby slept. But overall, an excellent experience and a place I would not hesitate getting whenever I'm in Glasgow!
“Stay Here!!!!!!!”
If you have the money for this place, you must stay here. You get a lovely apartment in the heart of Glasgow - quiet, street, doorman, fully functional kitchen with all the extras....truly a gorgeous home for however many days you need to be in Glasgow.
