“OK Standard, Great Location, Fantastic Service”
The standard my not live up to the hotel's aspirations, but the service and location more than make up for it.
“Great Old Town Location”
Hotel is cetralized to the Historical Old Hanoi. It has a limited number of superior rooms, two of which have only a "cruise ship" type shower in the toilet room. If you want a tub shower be sure and request it. The rooms were very clean and daily room service was proompt. We had an excellent view of the street from our balcony. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The included breakfast is better than typical and has cooked to order eggs. They are presently expandiing the hotel but the constuction has a very minimal impact on its operations. The in-room internet was exceptionally good. I would use their accommadations on a return trip to Hanoi.
“Great Hotel, Great location.”
The Vietahn Hotel is right in the heart of the old quarter. Pretty central location but I could see how some people would find the street outside busy and overwhelming. Great staff, great hotel with a great character. The breakfast was good too. My only complaint is that the shower wasnt designed properly and the floor gets soaked everytime you take a shower.
