“Such kind folk at the front desk”

When we arrived at the hotel which we had chosen for its location and the fact that it had a lift, we were greeted with the news that the lift was out of order. We must have had a look of complete dismay on our faces (we are both over 70). Very quickly the staff changed our room to a very large one on the ground floor, even before we asked!!! Wonderful service and a very substantial breakfast served in a bright breakfast room.
