“Wow!”

I was surprised to find my room was the "Celebrity Suite" and it was absolutely beautiful. Black marble floors, sunken jacuzzi tub, huge rooms, a half bath off the entry way. It was peaceful and enjoyable. I only went to the breakfast buffet once during my 5 day stay, but it was also nice. I will certainly stay in this hotel again.

“Good”

Motel was in a good location near the mall and many eating places. The temp. was controlled and regulated by the hotel so that the individual could not adjust the temp as one would be most comfortable. Very nice pool, the kids had a blast. Room was clean and nice but beds could be a little softer for my liking. The staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was free and ok, too many sugar products. They have outside entrances to rooms which we like and we also brought a small dog who is part of our family and she was accepted without any problems. That's important to us!

“Out of town place to stay!”

The hotel was quite nice,,very clean. We had booked the room through Expedia.com. No extra charges and we were quite pleased with the hotel . I love the no hassle and the reservations were made in advance. Would recommend this to anyone.

“Waiting for remodeling to finish”

The hotel itself is fine. However the dining area was under construction and they seemed to be adjusting the layout every day. The orange juice was the worst I have had in a hotel. The biscuits and gravy was just white gravy, no flavoring at all. The hot tub was out of order and the main pool is not heated so the temperature was uncomfortable.

“Weird”

This was my second stay at this Ramada. I had the Celebrity Suite the first stay and it's a very nice suite, although the water pressure in the kitchen was poor. Otherwise, it was fine. I stayed in a smaller suite this time and the bath tub was not clean. There was "scum" that surfaced on the water, which told me it had not been cleaned from previous use. I burned some bacon in the microwave before I left to take care of local business. Received a call that there was a "smell coming from the room" & could housekeeping enter to clear out the smell. As I travel with my dog, I told them I didn't want them entering the room unless I was there. When I returned an hour later, 4 housekeeping staff were gathered around my room door. They stated they needed to "see" inside my room. I explained my dog was a "door dasher"; I preferred they not open the door. The head housekeeper actually screamed when she saw my dog (a scottie), but another employee entered & enjoyed interacting with her. It was strange to say the least. The burnt bacon smell dissipated & no further issue. Front desk staff was very nice & accommodating, housekeeping staff not so much. I typically stay 3-4 days & would prefer privacy over having people enter my room. I don't need extra supplies, so I put a "Do Not Disturb" tag on the door & would appreciate it being respected. While I think the hotel could do a better job of maintaining the property, the rooms are nicer than other comparable facilities.

“Disappointed”

This hotel is aged and is need of upgrade. My room had water stains on ceiling and walls. Tub was slow to drain so you stand in 6" of water while you shower. There was a desk in room but no chair to sit a desk to work. I have stayed in Ramada's before, but was very dissapointed in this one.

“Dreadful”

The motel looked abandoned upon arrival, with big holes in parking lot quardened off by yellow (crime scene) tape. The room had cobwebs and was substandard.

“Customer Service was completely non-existant.”

From the moment they took our reservation until we checked out, everything missed commitments. They were not able to provide us with the room & features we reserved. Even though the reservation was specifically confirmed by an on-site employee, they repeatedly blamed the mistake on expedia. When we went to our room, the 1/2 empty shampoo bottle in the shower made the hairs in the bathroom a larger concern. The hotel staff in the breakfast area, literally followed behind my family with a trashbag pushing us to eat & run (there were still 10 more minutes before the buffet was scheduled to close.) Although advertised as a "full beakfast", it was just continental and a waffle iron. They even went so far as to turn off the juice machines early so that we could not finish our 'breakfast'. The beds were very uncomfortable & bedspreads were disgusting and stained. Half the pool area was closed off & the roof was leaking. After complaining, they just offered another nights stay for our troubles... as if. This experience was such a disappointment. I would strongly recommend that you book another hotel if you are visiting Hutch. There are many better options. The management of this hotel should be ashamed.
