Located just one quiet block from a main street and two and a half blocks from the famous town square. Walking distance to many restaurants and watering holes as well as excellent shopping. Behind the Anvil Motel where you check in for your stay and next to Nani's pasta house and bar. Complimentary passes are available for the Jackson Hole Rec Center (just one block away) which has a hottub, dry sauna, steam room, pool, water slide and a gymnasium.

“Pleasantly Surprised”
This hotel is great value for the money. It was like stepping back in time staying at this hotel, while the room was small - it provided a safe, comfortable and clean place to lay our heads at night. This is all we needed as most of our time on trips to Jackson Hole are spent enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. The room served it purpose for our needs.

close to the center of town. A little noise later in the evenings, a nice overall place to stay.
“Excellent value”
I stayed here for 3 days in early October, 2009. I had no problems. The room was small, the heat was hard to control, and the bed was too soft for my liking, but other than that, everything was fine. I paid less than half of what other places charged.
“A real bargain”
This room was for my daughter and her friend who were celebrating their recent college graduation on a cross country ski trip. They spent 3 nights there. It was a real bargain. They were totally happy with everything and the location is ideal for walking downtown. They especially loved the sign outside that said "you're a stranger here but once". Great value.
“No frills room but great price!”
If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower with no frills, then this place is for you! It's clean and well located to walking distance of town. You can't expect a 5 star for a 1 star price. Very satisfied with this room

Not fancy, but comfortable and met our needs. Great location for walking to the town square to shop and go to dinner, I would definitely go back.

Best value in jackson, it was clean and everything worked. Lots of channels on the TV and good wireless.
“It really worked for me”
The El Rancho Motel really worked for me. For the price it was EXCELLENT. It was clean and comfortable and located close to the action in Jackson.
“It's ok for just one or two nigt stay”
Well, Right after open the door, we smelled very ugly smelling, other than that it's ok. we landed SLC pretty late, so we right into the bed as soon as we arrived at hotel. The breakfast is ...less than okey, fruits are old, coffee is way too light...but al least they have some bread and cereals. The housekeeper will knot your door no matter if you have had hung the sign.
“Better than expected”
after reading the other reviews on this site I was expecting something dirty. What we found, however, was perfect for our needs. We went for a long weekend, so we didn't plan to lounge in the room. It was small but clean and the location was great. I wouldn't stay here if I was going to be here for too long, but it is Wyoming...why would you stay in your room.
