“Great Spot just off beach”

Was a great little place, Nice rooms,. gym, spa, trail to beach, and a few rooms that you could look out window and see the deer. Also had dicounts to some eating places. Will go back again

“Nice getaway place.”

Easy to find, just off the beaten path. Town was fun to explore and they even have a new quilt shop!!! Laurie's is the best breakfast place in town! Don't bother with the rest, trust me!!!! Would stay again but this time get the top floor room - that way you don't have to listen to little kids or dogs running around all night long!!!

“Back in time”

If feels like we went back in time when we arrived at Our Place at the Beach. The owners of this hotel are some of the nicest people I have ever met: helpful, friendly, and proud of their business. Although this hotel is dated, the owners are doing a good job of maintaining what is a quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay at the beach. We look forward to visiting Our Place at the Beach again soon.

“Good Value”

Good value, and only $7 charge for the dog! Very friendly staff. Rooms could use a remodel but were comfortable: comfy pillows, small refridgerator, coffee maker, guidebook. Shower steamed up the entire room (a lot of condensation on the windows). All in all, will stay there again due to friendliness, location and price. Note: Hotel had a fitness area and hot tub which I did not check out.

“Not really a hotel at the beach”

The name says "At the Beach" and we expected something really close to the beach. To our dismay, after driving around in circle, we found the "hotel" in a back alley, more like a run down motel. The room and bath room was not dirty but had strong Lysol smell. The door and lock was very flimsy. We lock the door and went our for dinner, when we came back, our door as half open. The door lock did not work! The bed covers were very worn out. The mattresses were flattened, still ok though. Amenities in the room were adequate. In general, OK for the price.
