“Cute Hole in the Wall”

We stayed for two days for less than a one night stay somewhere else. It had everything you need. A coffee pot,cable,soft towels,fridge,and microwave.We had our own front porch with a bench. The beach access was only one block away. The next beach access was a mile up the road. Long Beach is only a mile up the road. Its perfect if you only use the room to sleep. Not a lot of space to sprawl out.

“Wonderful hideaway near beach”

What a wonderful motel! At first we were a little hesitant about the size (more like cottages clustered together), but one look at the room put us at ease. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room with a kitchen, separate bedrooms, and a huge bathroom. It was more than comfortable for a family of 4. Close to beach access, Long Beach, and lots of sight-seeing opportunities. Don't follow online directions: make sure to turn LEFT (not right) when you are right outside Long Beach. It is only about 1 block to your left.

Cute little somewhat "funky" place. Great for the price... we'll stay again.

“Looks can be Deceiving”

At first sight Seaview Motel & Cottages looks run down and feels likes it's in the middle of nowhere, but after closer inspection the neat little cottage rooms are clean and hold quite a bit of charm. It's in a peaceful area so there is not much traffic noise at night and it's not too far to drive to the Highway. Some of the other guests seemed a bit odd to say the least, but this may have been luck of the draw!

“Cozy and comfortable”

Although not quite what I expected from pictures on their website; it was cozy and comfortable and served the purpose needed.

“Perfect for the Price”

Exactly as I expected from the reviews. Room was scrupulously clean.... Room freshener was a little overwhelming (I'm very sensitive to smells) but open windows dispelled the scent. Bed was firm, pillows were perfect and I slept soundly. Tiny bathroom took some maneuvering but, even a queen-sized woman managed fine. Coffee maker, microwave and little refrigerator and breakfast was handled. I would definitely stay here again. Motel is currently for sale. I sure hope new owners would keep up the current standard of cleanliness.

“Inexpensive place to stay”

This is an inexpensive motel and we got what we paid for. It is close (1 block) to the beach but no beach view. The bed was very firm and was not comfortable for us. It was a very quiet motel. This is a very old establishment that was up for sell at the time we stayed there. The main issue we had was that the room had a very unpleasant smell.

“Not staying again”

The rates were cheap but we paid more than the room was worth. When we started putting our stuff in the fridge we found food left in the freezer. I tried to heat water in the coffee pot for hot cocoa and got a pot of brown sludge full of coffee grounds. The bathroom was so small my husband's knees touched the wall in front of the toilet. And best of all, there was a nasty storm the first night and we discovered that the roof leaked. We went to sleep with the sound of water dripping into a garbage can. The hotel was full so we couldn't even switch rooms. It was a horrible experience. But we did get to spend the weekend at the beach for the same price it would have cost for one night at another hotel.
