“good value but hard to find”
Could really use some directions on how to find.
“If you are on a tight budget”
Attended a National Conference of a volunteer organization, needed clean, quiet and inexpensive. Found that, but a terrible time finding the hotel. Even the local police did not know where it was(-ok, maybe that is good in a way). Arrived after 11 PM. Door locked,office appeared closed, courtesy phone on voice mail. Banged on door loudly. Clerk came out, was expecting me, checked in quickly. Wife called,not emergency. Phone call not put through to room, no "message waiting." Paper message at desk. Called home- very expensive.
“Look For It In Louisville”
Convenient if you can find it. Tucked away behind a private hospital? No elevator like the one I stayed at in Columbus. Had to carry everything up (5) steps. Rooms clean, small, efficient, comfortable.
“Okay For The Price”
Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is a good value for the price. That being said, there are a few things that seem to fall between the cracks. For example, the room key cards do not open the outside door near the parking area, making unloading and loading a bit more inconvenient. After checking in, nothing was done to the room the entire three days I stayed. I did have plenty of towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc... so this wasn't a huge problem. (And, when I asked for it, I was given more coffee.) The wireless Internet service seemed a bit sporadic as well, and the staff seemed to be working with someone on this frequently while I was there. All in all, fairly minor issues, and I would probably consider staying at the hotel again...
“Feedback on Hotel”
The overall condition of hotel was a bit run down. Room seemed acceptably clean but everything was very worn. Perhaps for the price it was OK.
“You can do better”
I stayed there just one day, but would have checked out if I was staying longer. Halls had a smell, the hotel was very, very tired, including the old dirty couch cover in the lobby. If you can't replace the couch, replace at least the cover. This was typical. Many good stays at Extended Stay, but this location is not one of them.
“I Will Never Go Back!”
This hotel was in complete disrepair. The carpet was stained everywhere and was not vacuumed. The walls were covered with dirt, food, and what looked like blood. The door hinges were broken and the bathroom was disgusting. The whole hotel and my room smelled like a liter box for cats. The TV was tiny and the cable was full of static. I have never stayed somewhere so gross.
“Don't Stay Here”
My husband and I have both traveled extensively, and this hotel rates as one of the worst places that we have ever stayed. It was an old building and had not been maintained or updated. The security bar at the top of our room door was barely hanging on, and the manager was aware of it. She said that she would have it fixed if we wanted her to. It should have been fixed before we were assigned the room! The room did not feel clean; the carpet felt scuzzy. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, and when we asked for a hair drier, we were told that they were all checked out. If you want your room made up or clean towels changed out, it costs an extra $3/day.
“Would not return to this hotel.”
The main problem with this hotel was cleanliness. Whoever cleaned the room did not get to the corners ... especially in the bathroom. When we arrived at the hotel they informed us that they had no daily cleaning service, which would not have been an issue if the room had been cleaned properly in the first place. Granted, the hotel is used primarily by construction workers, so you expect some dirt in the hall and entrance areas. Also, an entrance door had been damaged and not yet fixed and a cover for a flourescent light in the hallway was cracked. It looked like a dormitory.
