“Wonderful staff”
Well situated hotel with great accommodation. Didn't have a chance to use fitness facilities but they looked great. Staff were helpful and polite, greeting us each time they saw us. A handbag was stolen in the town centre within an hour of arriving and the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. They didn't want that to be our memory of Madrid. Would base myself there again. Easy by tube from airport too for 2Euro!
“Five star at four star rates”
The Husa Moncloa is an annex of its sister five stare Princess Hotel. The room was enormous and facilities excellent. Breakfast was extensive and at a discount (ask the reception staff for a discount voucher for breakfast and dinner). Although the Moncloa does not have its own bar or restaurant, guests can use the 5 star facilities next door - use restaurant discount voucher here too.
“Great budget hotel in Madrid”
Had a great stay at Moncloa hotel. Very clean, staff were very helpful. Hotel was at the budget end of things but very acceptable and well situated for Metro etc. Views from the window were great, especially the dawn skylines.
“Loved the staff”
The staff here were amazing, helpful, pleasant and truely bilingual. They were always available to help us out, offer suggestions and went the extra mile every time we had even a simple request!
“America Style Hotel”
during my trip to Spain, I stayed at several hotels this was the best one I stayed at for 2 reasons: 1) Very large room and bath and very comfortable bed (at least for European standards) 2) The hotel is attached to full service fitness center and as a guest of the hotel, I got to use it for free
“Great Location and Great Rooms”
The location of the hotel is well commuted. Rooms are very big and comfortable. Garage is a little expensive.
“Big Corner room with a nice view of Madrid”
Of the 3 hotels I stayed in Spain this one was the best. Got a Corner room with a nice view and very spacious.
“Great Location”
Hotel is just 150 metres away from Arguelles which makes it easy to get to most of the places of attraction and the airport. The Plaza de Espana is only a 10 min walk away. The area is meant to be where a lot of students hang out but we didn't really see this. Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel and the location.
“Great hotel near neighborhoods and shopping”
We stayed here one night and were impressed by the size of the room. There was a lot of space, which made it feel like more of a one bedroom apartment sans kitchen than a basic hotel room. Although we were there for pleasure, this would be a great hotel for business travelers needing to stay a while. It was also near metro access, shopping at the enormous Corte Ingles department store, and other nice walks.
