“worth a visit”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Terre. There were a couple of minor glitches, but these were dealt with efficiently and generously by the hotel's management, which seems intent on improving what's perceived as wrong and truly offering a good experience to guests. The room was comfortable and roomy, the hotel's food was decent, the pools are clean and inviting, and the gardens/grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept. we had an issue with transfers and shuttles to town, but these were addressed by the hotel and, whilst I've rated the "convenience" of the hotel's location and the surrounding neighbourhood as only middle rankings, we much, much preferred to be out of the true hustle and bustle of Marrakech, which would have tired and irritated us quickly. The location is superb for peace, quiet, and relaxation with good service.
“Relax between touring”
This is a great resort with very helpful staff. Things were not perfect but the staff more than accommodated to make things right. It is away from the city so you either need a car or be prepared to use taxis. Both options are easy enough for the comfort and renewal provided by the resort. I used it as a great place to rejuvenate and reflect at the end of my journey.
“A great experience”
My wife and I spent 5 nights at Terre. The staff was great, always asking if we needed something. The food was great, the bar was great. Madame Myriam loves to talk and discuss with her guests. We really felt as if we owned the place. The ambiance around the pool was great. We were in a Royal suite with a private pool but we spent most of our time at the main pool. One negative point...breakfast! Could be a lot more elaborated (variety, it is not a breakfast of a 5 star hotel. The distance between Marrakech and the resort is 10 km which is at first kind of far but we really did enjoy the calm and zen atmosphere after a day in the city. I would definitely return to the Terre. Pierre Barbeau, Quebec, Canada
“will go back”
The hotel is far from the centre of Marrekesh and is the perfect place for peace and quiet with a spa to releive the stress makes this a perfect place to relax with wonderful surroundings. the rooms are a good standard and housekeeping is also very good , staff are friendly and helpful . Restuarant is dissapointing and not five star standard and is expensive , however compared to resturnats in marreksh but in terms of taxi plus resturant it works out to be the same , be aware taxis into marrekesh cost 15o Dirham each way
“one of Maqrrakech nicest hotels”
Just take into consideration that you need a car to go around , although they provide you with a free shuttle service.
“Would love to go back!”
Wow, what a fantastic hotel! Highly recommended - gorgeous gardens and facilities. We also had a free upgrade on arrival. There is a complimentary shuttle into the city 3x a day, but a cab only takes 20 mins and costs 150 Dirhams. Might sound crazy but you're better off outside the city which can be hair-raising and manic, unless that's what you're after of course. Five hours in the market and my head was pounding but I loved every minute!
“Fantastic deal”
We got a great deal, and only booked here as it was completely worth it. All four of use were so impressed. We went at the end of March. Temp was around 30, and we had the whole place to ourselves. The rooms were awesome, well planned, and had interesting designs. The beds were not great though. There is a free shuttle service in to town, but be warned the man only spoke French, and very quickly. So it took me a while to work out what he was saying with my meagre GCSE in French. The hotel was quite far out, which meant it was quiet, but you would have to get a taxi into town. There is nothing near the hotel either. So its the hotel or town. The staff are very good at cleaning and maintaining the resort. The only downside was that the evening menu was fairly limited, and the spa was a rip off. Paid a lot for a pedicure, which I could have done myself for a lot less. Alcohol was also quite expensive in the bar. Breakfast was good, standard continental/French breakfast. Overall, we had a really relaxing couple of days in the hotel, and would recommend it.
“Fantastic hotel”
I went for 10 days with my boyfriend and really cannot fault the hotel. The staff were very friendly, extremely helpful and spoke very good english. The food seemed a little expensive but was very worth it as it was so good. Think there could have been more choice with the Morroccan menu though. Alcohol was very expensive but imagine that this is the same throughout the whole of Morrocco. We bought some duty free and would definitely recommend this to other travellers. On our final night we went on the hotel's sunset camel ride which turned out to be one of our highlight's. The family who ran the camel ride were very friendly and hospitable. The only down side was the distance between the hotel and the main square although this could also be an advantage as it was so peaceful and quiet. When using taxis make sure you ask the price beforehand and use the hotels free shuttle were possible
“Wonderful experience”
From the complimentary upgrade and fruit basket on arrival to the beautifully manicured gardens to the high level of service from the hotel staff, this property offered a wonderful 5 star experience at a very reasonable price. This is a boutique property with only 52 rooms so you really do get the personal service which can easily be over looked by an over-sized resort. Yet the grounds are large enough that you can always find a secluded area to spend a warm afternoon.
“Terre Resort And Spa”
Very Good Hotel, so beautiful, one thing to say is that Hotel is quite far from Marrakech. But so nice
