“Would stay here again”
This place worked out perfect for my needs of this trip. Rooms are functional not a lot of extra space in room I had but I don't need it, I'm there to sleep & shower
“Very relaxing”
Courteous and helpful staff. Restaurant was nice and relaxed - good food. We had rooms on 9th floor with balconies overlooking ocean. Amazing sunrises! Nice to sit out at night and unwind listening to the ocean and watching the boats. Hotel is next to large park, so was quiet. Rooms were cleaned (and tile floors mopped) every day. Only problem was we were 4 people in the one room and only 3 towels were replaced each day. Housekeeping did, however, eventually give us a large supply to last the rest of the week. Did not get to enjoy the spa. Would definitely go again (and use the spa!).
“Great Secret”
I love this place. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and the staff was friendly. The front desk was very helpful and everything we needed they had. I love the inside of the hotel, its very cute and clean. The floor was swept and mopped everyday, since it is on the beach...Wonderful place and I will be returning, soon. I would like to recommend the spa, BEAUTIFUL!!!! and great service.

This hotel is great .It's comfortable. The maintenance is good. The guest workers are friendly. There is a good breakfast for a good price.We are very satisfied with the hotel.

Very quiet and close to one of the most elegant places in Miami. Clean and tidy rooms. Excellent and affordable parking area, pool and beach facilities. Quick check in and check out. An excellent relationship between price and quality. We would definitely like to come back.

“A great trip!”
We spent a week visiting in Miami Beach and chose the Dezerland Howard Johnson as our hotel. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and extremely polite. Our room was kept immaculate and was very roomy and comfortable. There is a small gift shop and a great 50's themed restaurant and bar in the main lobby. The grounds were lovely and although we didn't use the pool, it appeared very clean and well kept. Parking is always a problem there but this hotel has a lot on its grounds and and an overflow lot across the street. The charge was very reasonable at $10 per day regardless of times in and out. I would definitely recommend the Dezerland and plan to return there on our next trip.

“We loved it”
We got a free breakfast and free parking. Loved the restaurant with the old car theme. It was a full all you can eat breakfast too. Loved that it was on the beach as well and was within walking distance of shopping. We would go back.
