“Very nice hotel.”
Very nice hotel in a good location, worth the money.
“it was good”
the price is wxpensive
“staff very friendly”
The staff was great with kids. Breakfast was included.
“Superb service! A hidden treasure...”
The Hampton NY Financial District is a hidden gem in the city. This is a fairly quiet location with a great service staff! We needed or luggage stowed at both the beginning and end of the stay and the staff was overwhelmingly helpful. The breakfast is the best we enjoyed on our 8-day trip. For the price and the service at the property, you can't go wrong! The rooms are very small (typical NY), but clean and very comfortable.
“Excellent hotel”
A superb hotel, with excellent standards of cleanliness and super-friendly staff. Very impressed.
“Would go back.”
The hotel was great and staff was even better. Breakfast was good and fresh. We had two rooms and one was a little on the small cramped side.
“Great hotel, great location!”
Our room was ready when we checked in at 3pm. We expected a small room (typical in NY) and it was, but it was just fine for a family of four. And our kids are 11 and 14! We hardly spent any time in the hotel except in the late evening. The beds were extremely comfortable and the amenities in the room were very nice. Free interenet always worked great which was of HUGE importance to us. One of the best features is the free breakfast. There was always something hot to eat and it was different every morning. There is a waffle maker (do it yourself), cereals, fruit, yogurts, juices, milk and several coffees. And I have to mention there was a wonderful lady who worked there who kept everything clean and refilled! Great way to save. My kids were able to sit and eat as much as they wanted. The location was awesome...right next to the Brooklyn Bridge AND two blocks from the Southstreet Seaport Mall. It's and indoor/outdoor dining and shopping experience that is wonderful to have nearby. We were only a few blocks away from the closest subway which was a form of transportation we used several times. We also were able to take just a 10 minute walk and get to Chinatown and Little Italy. We took advantage of a walking tour that was FREE and based on tips only and was also a 10 minute walk away to meet up. I would for sure recommend this hotel.....it was nice to come back at the end of the day where it is a little quieter than some other parts of town like Times Square.
“Great Hotel and Staff”
The staff was extremely helpful as we were there for our daughter's wedding. They made our stay very pleasant. In fact, we stayed an extra day and they honored the expedia price.
“The best place I've stayed in the city”
This newly remodled Hampton Inn was outstanding. Although you are down in Seaport - the rest of the city is easily accessible by the subway. For the money, this was the best place I have stayed in NYC, everything from the flat screen TV in the room to the delicious hot breakfast.
“Hampton Inn Pearl St Brooklyn Bridge nr South Street Sea Port”
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was excellent and lots of it, cereal, hot food, fruit, pastries, hot and cold drinks. The crockery and cutlery were disposable. The rooms were air conditioned (it was quiet too)spacious and comfy. The bed was lovely and the linen and towels changed daily. Nice smellies in the bathroom. We were well located for taxis, getting to all the main sights and it was a quiet area, so we slept soundly. There are great bars and foodie places nearby, plus shops and pretty cobbled streets. The Bridge Cafe around the corner is particularly fab, Great food, staff and service.
