“Good for your money!”
Obviously not the nicest hotel, but it's a good place to stay if you have a budget. There is no pool but you can swim at the hotel next door! Also no ice machine to be found... About a 10 minute walk from Clifton Hill.
“Not impressed”
It is a good stay if you are on the budget and want to walk to the falls and Clifton Hill (it is about 8-10 minute walk to either). There isn't anybody at the check out counter most of the time as it is operated with another hotel nearby. This motel does not feel secure at night (no staff on duty). Upon check in the room had no air, no fan in the bathroom and the bedframe was broken. After being checked in to another room all worked. The staff was friendly and we got our room switched pretty quick. The swimming pool is by the other hotel - President Inn Motel dooes not have it's own pool. Rooms are more spacious that other motels I had stayed in.
“pay for parking???????”
i thought the fact that they wanted to charge $10 per night was a rip considering i was there on a wed.-thurs. and the only person staying in the whole building. anyway, i didn't pay it.
“don't want to go back there”
this motel is not so bad if your on the budget.. no phone inside the room, the pool is located on the other building/motel. I am expecting to have atleast 4 bath towels since there are 4travellers in each room we checked in. This motel is not good for business travellers.
“Price and cleanliness were the only good things about it....”
Be prepared for no phone, or alarm clock/clock-radio in the room, and allot of transient activity. I was awakened quite a few times by arguments in the parking lot over disputed price for "services already rendered"....not exactly encouraging a sense of security for a single woman staying in the hotel! Check in is at the Days Inn 2 doors down. There is no restaurant or bakery in the hotel as listed on the info on the expedia website. If you want bare bones facilities and price is your major consideration, then go with this hotel. Frankly I'd have paid more for a room with a phone or alarm clock. Would I use it again? Not a chance, without some changes.
“Not Impressed”
The first hint of a downward slide was no desk person. We were directed to the next door Days Inn. Ice was available by walking to the Days Inn. The shower curtain had mildew. The Days Inn staff was asked if there were plans to demolish the President and they said no, because it was the only ecomomy property in the area.
“So disappointed”
I booked this hotel for my friend but I stayed at the Oakes nearby. When I passed by the hotel I was so disappointed and moreso when she described it. Had to change rooms . Rooms were terrible. She wanted to check out but would have to wait to receive refund from Expedia. Travelling all the way from Jamaica she did not want to take that chance so she stayed as she was attending a convention and would be out for most of the time. No telephone in the rooms and no one at the desk to even leave a message for her. That was scary.
“Will never stay there again”
I had to clean out the tub before I took a bath the 1st nite. And it looked like a 3year old made up the bed.
“President Motor Inn, Niagara Falls, Ont”
The bed was clean and confortable and once we got to sleep, we had a good night's sleep. BUT: There were spiders in the bath tub and on the walls. We destroyed 5 nests. The shower was broken. It was a little while to fix that. TV had one channel only. No Telephones in the room. The room was very damp so we wore our vests to bed.
