Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center sits on its own guests-only stretch of beach on Chesapeake Bay in Virginia Beach. The beach and dunes are more natural here than the more heavily used sands of resorts farther south. The hotel has an indoor pool, seasonal outdoor pool, spa tub, and sauna; a health club with fitness center and massage services is also on site.
The Virginia Beach Tennis Club (two miles from the hotel) offers 30 outdoor and six indoor courts with a variety of playing surfaces. Guests are allowed 1.5 hours of complimentary play for each night of stay at the hotel. Complimentary bicycles are available for scenic rides through First Landing State Park.
The hotel offers a business center and seasonal concierge desk, as well as complimentary parking in a secure garage.

Seasonal poolside bar and cafe - Open Memorial Day through Labor day, this poolside bar and cafe serves cocktails, beverages, and burgers and sandwiches.

“Beautiful Beachfront Resort”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was huge and clean; the view was awesome, and the staff was very nice.

Staff were very nice and helpful, set up golf trips, got directions, provided shuttle etc. Clean rooms, nice pool,nice restaurant. hot tub is kind of small and if wanting to swim in ocean a lot, might want to stay on va beach instead of bay, but not very far away if dont mind drive.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It was perfect my friends and I. The pool was nice and the beach was quiet and secluded.

The hotel was beautiful! It was great for families that had pre-teen children, The staff was excellent and the rooms were spacious and clean. I would definately recommend this hotel for any one who is looking for a hotel that is clean, quiet, and in a great location!
“Great place to stay on the bay!”
I think that the negative responses are from people that had bad experiences. Our exp. was great. Entire staff was helpful. Rooms were not 5 star but were clean and as shown on the web site. Perfect for a family with small children. The water is not as rough and the hotel has a very safe atmosphere. Plan to go back!!!!
“Weekend Trip”
We only stayed 2 nights but the cost was great, right on the bay and a decent pool. Very big room, nice view. Would stay again
“VA Beach Resort”
I was very pleased with the resort. It was my first time at a hotel with more than 1 room. Cleanliness was excellent as was comfort. Room service was prompt and friendly. I used the pool and jacuzzi which was also splendid. The view from the balcony was a pleasant ocean view. You can easily walk out of the pool area and right into the beach for a nice walk. The restaurant menu was nice as well but you need to make sure you have a decent amount of money to buy anything worth while from it. Any good entree was more than $20. It's better to order pizza or eat out while staying at the hotel, but other than that, a very pleasant experience.

“Huge Room”
We were extremely pleased with our room. It was huge and clean. The hotel was right on the bay. Although the kids liked the beach better because of the waves, the bay was so warm that I'd rather go there. Great pool also. The price was very reasonable, especially for the middle of the summer. The only thing negative to say is that the lady that checked us in did not seem too friendly. She didn't smile or tell us where everything was located. Still, it was a great experience and we'd definitely go back.
