“A relaxing way to stay!”

I was plesantly surprised at our find! It isn't too far from Bar Harbor (but you will have to drive!) and it provided a wonderful view and quiet place to stay. Weddings/Receptions do occur so you may even be an uninvited spectator to the fun! (However, if you like silence when going to bed, ask about the schedule).

“Beautiful views”

The hotel and the staff are quite nice and accomidation. The views are very beautiful. There is a bit o msuty odor but I think that this is unavoidable in a seasonal hotel.

“Exercise caution here!”

While the location was perfect,the rooms spotless, and the view incredible, do not book if there are weddings scheduled! There was a wedding there each of the 3 nights we stayed. The music was deafening (until 10:30 pm)and the entire downstairs was off limits to the guests. Children at the wedding were running about screaming. The proprieters sacrificed paying guests' comfort to the wedding parties. The dining room was also closed. I will not return to this inn...ever.
