“Will Stay Again”
Great hotel for business or leisure travel. Pretty decor (we stayed during Christmas), friendly staff, useful business center with internet. Within walking distance of Tim Hortons, Parliament, and shopping center.
“styling is a little funny, but overall great”
This hotel has a lot of things going for it: clean, nice duvets with nice covers, no yucky hotel bedspreads or carpets, aveda products, excellent bathroom. the only drawback as far as i am concerned is that it is a little 'over-styled' and as a result seems a little 2007 in 2009. E.g,. they pipe scents through the ventilation system (vanilla, I think), and you are greeted with a waterfall with the words "inspire . . . integrate . . . investigate . . ." one wall in the room is covered with wallpaper in the pattern of a sweater so you feel like it's The Gap -- altogether a bit much. But these things are merely cosmetic. I would most definitely stay there again for the cleanliness of the rooms and the lack of depressing hotel feeling that most places in ottawa give me. overall, it felt fresh, homey, clean, cheerful. Also, nice staff. I would much rather stay here than any other hotel in the city.

I was very surprised with hotel Indigo. Room was very nice and clean, Bed and pillows were very comfortable, and very good price.
“Go to Indigo”
Indigo was fabulous for us. A two night stay with perfect service and always a helpful, friendly smile. I will be returning to Indigo in a few weeks and have already recommended it to others, you should know it is not a boutique hotel. It certainly does more than the average, but it's not there yet. The sense I get is that they want to be...I think they may get there. I think adding bath robes would be a great touch as well as fresh flowers. Boutique is in the details...a few more steps required, but I AM going back. Great price too.
“Would definitely stay there again”
Small hotel, good pool and workout facilities [the building used to be the YMCA], very comfortable beds. Easy walking to lots of downtown Ottawa areas. Rooms quiet at night.
“Great Spot”
I've stayed at many hotels through Canada and the USA, and this is one of my favorites. Very friendly service. Perfect location. No need for a car. We walked everywhere. Bed was comfy. Loved the hot tub and pool. The city is beautiful and your hotel is the front door to it all. This is my go to hotel when staying in Ottawa.
“Excellent hotel in the heart of Downtown”
Stayed for a business trip, very excellent hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, rooms were comfortable and very modern. The only downside was if your a light sleeper try to avoid a lower room facing the main street as it can get a little noiser.
“Great downtown hotel”
We stayed as a couple at the Indigo for a weekend of sightseeing in Ottawa. It's fairly modern and well-kept, and the staff was very helpful. Our room was nice and spacious. The downtown location is great for tourism and a convenient walking distance to the parliament, museum, Byward market and many other attractions. Underground self-parking is a bit tricky, but that's what you can expect if you bring your car downtown short of a valley service.

LOVE THE COMFORTABLE ATMOSPHERE AND HARDWOOD FLOORS IN THE ROOMS.

Overall an excellent hotel. It's centrally located, really close to the parliament hill and downtown Ottawa.
