Good hotel for the money. We we comfortable and the service was good. Wewere stuck in the record snowstorm, so we did not tour Richmond as planned.

“Value hotel”

I stayed at this hotel to catch a 6AM flight from Richmond, VA. It is convenient from the interstate and a short less than 10 minute drive from the airport. The bed was fairly hard, some would find it uncomfortable. The room was clean, quite, and everything worked. The physical condition of the room was less than desirable. A clothes shelve was half pulled out of the wall and obvious signs of plaster patched all over the bathroom area.

“Day's Inn Richmond, VA (a little run down”

Upon our arrival we checked in and hotel staff did have our reservations, plus they had printed directions to the place we were going. We were also told of the continental breakfast from 7:00AM - 10:00AM. We went up to our room: 1. turned on air conditioner; worked fine 2. the toilet in the bathroom had stains inside the bowel 3. tv worked fine 4. the shower had nice pressure and was hot however the water built up several inches in the tub. 5. beds were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep Checked out in the morning and went to the Continental breakfast about 9:30 in the morning. It was close to closing, but it was not very clean in the area (a bit of a turn off) Crumbs over the counters and tables not really clean. Garbage overflowing in the one container that was there. It looked like there was only one person taking care of the whole area. That could have been part of the problem. Would not go to the continental breakfast again. Questionable if we would stay there again because of the overall cleanliness of the facility. Appeared to be very under staffed.

clean room,friendly and helpful associates.Good access to major highway.Would use again next year if I return to the Richmond International raceway.

Just fine. Wish the continental breakfast was a bit better, but that's minor.

We heard the hotel was really dangerous and in a bad area, but that was not our experience. It was clean and quiet and cheap.

“Great - for Race fans”

I read the reviews and was a bit scared, however, I found the room to be efficient and clean, everything worked and worked well. You could tell renovations had been taking place around the hotel to improve the property. The pool worked, the staff was extremely cooperative and helpful, and breakfast was provided as well. Just under a few miles from Richmond International Raceway, the location and ofcourse the low-price would sway me to return for the next race.

“Clean, cheap accomodation”

We jsut wanted a clean, reasonable place to stay. We got it.

“Good value, conveniently just north of Richmond and right off of I-95.”

Not in the best part of town, but not unsafe either. Drive up to room style motel, and conveniently right off 95. Not much in the way of convenience stores or restaurants in the area, but far cheaper than Richmond for lodging. Nice pool for summer months.

Some deferred maintenance issues. Front desk person was teriffic in regards to directions and dinner recs.
