“Amazing View!”
La Rosa dei Venti is perched atop a hill in the relaxing city of San Remo. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from city center. If you're not much of walker and do not have a rental car, you should be aware that it is fairly steep walk back up to the hotel. The train station is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. I recommend taking a taxi from the train station if you have your luggage with you. The taxi ride is inexpensive. My room at La Rosa dei Venti was fantastic. It was incredibly large with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. The room also had a large balcony and a small kitchenette. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend you eat at the hotel's restaurant. I ate dinner at the restaurant several time and the food and service was always wonderful. I look forward to visiting San Remo again and staying at this hotel.
“Highly impressed!”
This really is a gem of a hotel, with very freindly service and quality accomodation. The rooms are immaculate, with Air conditioning, multi function showers or spa bath. The service was second to none, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone... in fact, I will be returning there next year! It really is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is very close to the centre of town, with an excellent view of the sea. Don't stay anywhere else in San Remo... stay at the Hotel La Rosa dei Venti.
“Enjoyed our stay”
Despite our trip being in October and out of season all the hotel staff were very helpful and curtious. The hotel was extremely quiet but was in good order and very clean. Our room was a superior which had two bedrooms and a small kitchen and sea view. The room was simply decorated but satisfactory.The hotel was a good 25 minutes from Sanremo centre and partly down hill on the way there and obviously up hill on the way back. Overall we were pleased with our choice.

We loved it........the staff was great! The scooter rental was delivered to the hotel. Great wine from the bar.....good view! We loved it.....they gave us a ride to the train station! We would reccommend!
“Best stay for your dollar!”
Amazing experience. This town first of all is great for vacation, a honeymoon, or a high stakes poker tournament ;). Anyway, the only downside is that it is on a steep and a bit of a winding hill. However, it's about 20 minutes to walk to the center of town, casino, and beach. The staff was PERFECT! They helped me with everything i needed, gave me advice, had great food service, and were friendly. I do recommend a taxi unless you have the energy to make the walk. However, by taxi it should be cheap from the casino or downtown- probably less than 10 euro. The pool, great food, and wonderful staff make this a great spot and for a very low price!
“Very comfortable”
The room was very comfortable and quiet. We got a good night's sleep.
“Certainly Acceptable”
Be sure to take a taxi from the rail station to the hotel. Hotel is somewhat distant from the town center, but a managable walk. Free shuttle into town was appreciated, but it runs only every three or four hours. Room was clean and comfortable, the location in the hills above San Remo made for a beautiful view of the ocean, and the hotel provided a much needed respite from a hurried travel schedule. The pool was much appreciated in July. Breakfast included a variety of selections and was very filling. Had a wonderful exchange with the chef on two occassions even thought he didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much Italian, and would recommend at least one evening meal on the hotel grounds. The safe in the room did not function. Ask for it to be fixed, but it was never done during three nights in the hotel even though the front desk repeated assured us that it would be taken care of.

nice place, but difficult to find as not signed from main road (as other hotels are) Look for the sign to Eden Hotel. long way from train station (now in east of town, but we asked, and were given, a lift back to the station when we left

“A quiet and comfortable hotel, a little off the beaten track”
This hotel is part residential part regular hotel rooms, so the room layouts are more like small self contained apartments then regular hotel rooms. It was quiet and comfortable and was perfect to use as a base from which to travel out each day. The hotel decor is fairly modern and minimalistic, with a slight sense that it's builders left before it was finished, although the actual rooms and other hotel areas were clean and comfortable.
