“A perfect place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary”

Our room overlooked the caldera, with an unobstructed view. The hot tub on our patio was perfect for lazy evenings. Breakfast was served on a tray each morning to our patio, so we could relax, enjoy a plentiful breakfast and look out to the sea, watching boats come in and out of the harbor. The woman in charge of cleaning our room was thorough and efficient and very pleasant. The manager was helpful with travel tips and suggestions, both on the island and for when we returned to Athens.

“Book this one!!”

Once i checked in at the Shine, I scoped out the rest of the hotels and I would have to say compared to all the ones i saw no one came close to the type of view the Shine had. The front desk was extremely helpfull and nice. The only negetives were the 13" TV and the trouble finding it. You would think any taxi driver would know where this place is. So i reccomend telling the front desk to draw a map before you get there. Also renting a car is a must!!! It costs about 20 Euro a day and they only have a couple different types on the island, everyone seems to drive the same type of car. Overall a great experience!

Amazing staff, incredible views, the jacuzzi is totally worth it!! breakfast on your balcony is delightful! and they had a computer with skype you could use for free in the lobby. so comfortable and accommodating!! I'd go back there in a heartbeat!

“Definitely going back”

A lovely, family run hotel. Excellent value for money. Very convenient location, near supermarkets, cafes and the local bus network. The view from my room was amazing. Breakfast everyday was a treat and very substantial. Nothing was too much trouble for the management and as I was on my own I really appreciated this. Imerivigli is within walking distance from Thira and the walk along the coastal path is relatively easy and the views are sensational. Morning is the best time as it still cool and you can catch the bus back. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for the budget traveller. I even had a jacuzi outside my room.

“Amazing Service”

This hotel provided amazing serivce from the man at the front desk. He informed us where we should eat and told us some of the fun things to do in the area. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Santorini.

“Shine Hotel was Fabulous!”

I would highly suggest the Shine Hotel. The management went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a memorable and VERY pleasant one. The sunset view each night from the balcony was like a postcard, as was the view of the city.

“Terrible hotel.”

Extremely tiny shower/bathroom with the shower open to the rest of the room allowing water to soak the entire floor and surrounding. Most disappointing of all was all of the smoke-choked towels we received to dry off with and wash with. After my wife requested for more towels without smoke infused into them, we simply received more cigarette smoke smelling towels...disgusting. The breakfast was just a bunch of glass cups, plates, plate settings, and napkins with..bread, bread, and not surprising: more bread. The manager was very friendly and seemed to try. The marvelous looking jacuzzi tub I was looking forward to was much older looking than in the pictures and also did not heat up as hot as it should; disappointing when I was looking forward to it, as it was cold outside. Also, the rooms had very poor heating systems and would never reach a warm temperature overall, and if you wanted it on during the night, it made an annoying squeaking noise. Also, another thing that greatly hindered any sleep were the banging window shutters of the room whenever the wind would pick up. Overall, the room was tiny and cold, the bed was uncomfortable, the shower was terrible, and it was extremely difficult to locate this hotel. We had no water for a period of time when the power went out and I was taking a shower. Another time the power went out, we had no hot water and sat in the dark for a couple of hours.
