“Great for the Price”
Went with four other friends and had a great stay. The rooms are modern, simple, and clean. Nice heated floors helped with the cold Seoul winter. A short walk away from the subway (line 5), as well as a grocery store and bakery. Great for the price!
“I liked the hotel”
When I arrived it was at night and the area looked kinda dirty. During the day it's alrite and the subway is a short 2 blocks from the hotel. The subway is all you need to get around Seoul. My hotel room wasn't big but it wasn't that small either. It was clean and comfortable enough to sleep in. I was out all day all night and spent about 4-5 hours in my room each day to just sleep. Housekeeping was great and I didn't have anything stolen from me. I didn't go to the front desk once for any complaints or questions. I guess my only complaint was the cable channels were boring but who goes to Korea to watch TV? I am planning to go back to Korea next year and I am planning to stay at this hotel again at a very affordable price :)
“Practical & Good Value”
No luxuries, but a good, clean, well-presented basic accomodation very convenient for the subway downtown and to airports. Its self-catering - the room has all you need, there is a 24 hour store in the basement and others nearby (great when you wake up starving in the middle of the night due to jet lag). There is a restaraunt that serves breakfast (not tried) and a bar that opens in the evening. In- room wired internet is available by the week for a small fee. The subway is two short blocks away and its an 1100 Won fare to go just about anywhere downtown. Its on Subway line 5, so travel to Gimpo airport (Domestic & Regional) is direct and for Incheon (International) go to Gimpo and take the new "Airport Railroad" to Incheon. Staff very helpful and speak a good standard of English. I was worried about finding the place but there is a good map at the exit of the subway station that shows the way.
“Great for the price”
Good location, train station is 5 min. walk. Also college students live there so there are english speakers around. good service. they dony have a shuttle bus to/from hotel. YOu cant go wrong for this budget hotel. the trains in Seoul is great so the location is not a problem. ALso you will not be alone, there are hundreds of travelers staying there. For teh money it is great, NOt to mention the rooms are mini apts. Own fridge, microwave, closet etc. *atleast mine was. Hhave a greattime
“CO OP - A Great Place”
A great place to stay, but the location is a little further away from Seoul than I thought.
“Good hotel”
The hotel was pretty nice. The rooms are warm in the winter, however the lobby is very cold. I think it is too bad that the hotel clerks do not have adequate heat in the winter, they should take better care of their workers. Don't buy international phone cards from the store in the hotel. They do not work, and they will not refund your money.
“A Great Location and a Nice Setting but Too Many Mosquitos”
Good Location, Nice staffs. Studio setting is a bit small, especially the bathroom is really tiny- You will have trouble not getting the toilet wet while you are showering. No cordination among 5 different elevators. Overall, it would be fair to say, it can be a pleasant stay. One thing really bothered me though is that there are too many mosquitos even if I stayed in the highest floor, due to the adjacent lake.
“nice place to stay”
i enjoyed staying here. it is true that the bathroom walls are glass and see through. it was a nice location and i had no problems with getting around via subway. i also enjoyed the park conveniently located across the bridge just a few meters from the residence. i was also able to borrow some adapters for my laptop since i forgot to bring some myself. overall i enjoyed my week long stay here.
“Great Alternative to Pricy Seoul Hotels”
I've stayed in a multitude of Hotels in Seoul and found them all to be extremely pricy unless one wishes to stay in a low quality motel, which runs nearly the same price as Oh Mok Gyo Co-Op. The location is fairly convenient, and taxi's are almost always waiting outside. The best comparison of the Co-Op I can make is it's quite like a giant Youth Hostel. A Laundry room is on each floor, along with iron and ironing board, the rooms have a television and phone, hotplate, sink, and a standard korean bathroom (entire bathroom is the shower as well). The floors are On-Dol (Heated) as well. Service in the hotel is simple, front desk and maid service every 2 days. onstairs has a convenient store for needed supplies, and a resteraunt in the hotel too. Location is decent, the immediate area is bare of entertainment businesses, because it is primarily residential. But a short taxi ride, or 30 minutes on the subway will bring you within some of the citie's largest areas for colleges and entertainment. If you don't speak korean, no worries, as someone nearby will always speak english.
“30 0 mins metro ride to the center of the city”
It is very difficult to find Taxi after 1 pm. I consider it is too far from the center of the city. For a short stay, I perfer to find a hotel in the center of the city.
