“63 Orange Street Delight”
We stayed with Jackie for 2 nights and had a great experience. The room was very clean and Jackie went out of her way to wait on us. Say hi to Paddy for me (bird) and teach her new sounds other than the fire alarm sound. I tried. Good job Jackie..........
“Very personal, very friendly, and very special”
My wife an I stayed three nights at this lovely B&B. The breakfasts are very special. No bacon and eggs here! We had a gourmet home cooked breakfast, with desert each morning. The house is very interesting and in a great central location.
“If you like a B&B, then this is a good one”
Located just 2 blocks from the City Gates, includes parking, very polite hostess and housekeeper. Very knowledgeable about the area. The house was built in 1888, has nice antiques, nice old smell but has new amenities, cannot remember about internet though we did not bring a laptop and didn't ask, but if you're staying at a B&B then you will probably not bring one either. Wonderful breakfasts and dessert for breakfast! They will give you a TV if you want one. We walked everywhere, we parked the car and never got back into it until we left.
“Very Nice B&B”
The owner of the Orange St Bed and Breakfast has taken great care to create and maintain a romantic ambience of a bygone era. She takes personal care of her guests, making you feel at home. A quite different experience from other, more commercialized bed and breakfast. The food was excellent and was personalized to suit health needs and tastes. No worries and I would stay there again for sure.
“Great Bed and Breakfast”
The owner, Jackie, made us feel like we were her family. She gave us information regarding restuarants, places to see in St Augustine. Her breakfast were spectacular--all homemade. Easy to walk to the fort, and old historic sites etc.
“We'll be back!”
Very nice B&B. We truly enjoyed our stay here. The home has been lovingly restored and is truly a delight. The breakfasts were plate licking good. The B&B is within eashy walking distance of St. George Street and the Castillo. We did not move the car for two days while exploring St. Augustine. We will be back!
“None Better!”
Wonderful, atmospheric Victorian home on the fringe of the historic district. Each guest room is different, but appropriately decorated with period antiques. Public areas are comfortable. Lovely front porch for relaxing. Jackie is a warm, wonderful hostess who goes all out to make guests feel welcome. Breakfast is a multi-course treat: we had juice, fruit with yogurt, French toast made from croissants, sausage patties and fried potatoes, and a chocolate pudding-cake dessert. Jackie knows her town intimately and can help any visitor find attractions that fit their interests. We would certainly stay here again if we return.
“A hidden gem in St Augustine”
This Bed & Breakfast is work a love from it's owner Jackie. The house is beautifully furnished with amazing antique furniture. Each morning we were served a delicious gourmet breakfast Jackie makes you feel like you are staying with good friends. 63 Orange Street is located a short walk from the historic section of St Augustine. No need to pay for parking. We look forward to returning soon.
“Old South life standard”
It was great, a taste of the Southern old style, and a beautiful location. The hostess provided a gourmet breakfast that was excellent A great place to stay
