“Paradise Found!”
We stayed at the Ginger Lily in December 2008 and found it exceptional - I am a frequent traveller to St Lucia and would recommend this small hotel to everyone. The staff, quality of room snd location are all excellent. The rooms are very spacious, more reminicent of a 4/5 star hotel. We will 100% be staying here again.
“Great value, great locaion”
The staff was very friendly. Great location to walk around Rodney Bay.
“Very nice little hotel”
The Ginger Lily is a great spot in Rodney Bay. It is close to all the restaurants and the crowed Reduit Beach. It is a nice quiet hotel. The room is large and clean. My only complaint is the mattress was pretty old and had a definite spot I rolled into. Not comfortable so sleeping was difficult.
“This hotel really does live up to its reputation”
We have just returned from a 2-week stay at the Ginger Lily. It is difficult to add to the many complimentary reviews of the hotel. Although initially surprised how small the grounds are, their tranquil beauty soon compensated for this. Our superior deluxe room was large, airy, light and well appointed. You could see the Caribbean Sea through the rooftops. Our daughter fell in love with the hotel cat and it turned out to be a constant companion during lazy days spent relaxing around the swimming pool. The hotel is brilliantly placed for access to a great beach where Happy Hour at Spinnakers as the sun goes down is a photo opportunity an memory to warm the heart during winter months. Buzz, the nearest restaurant, provides excellent service and good quality food. Delirius is also worth a visit. Walk to Key Largo for lunch. The hotel will recommend 'Mano' for airport transfers and a personalised island tour. He is a nice guy and we would recommend using his services. One of the highlights of each day was the artistry of the maid in using towels and flowers from the garden to create a variety of characters. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Ginger Lily.
“Exactly what we wanted...”
We stayed for our honeymoon in April. We specifically chose Rodney Bay and particularly The Ginger Lily because we didn't want to be on a resort. We wanted to eat, drink and visit where we wanted and not feel stuck on a large, impersonal hotel complex. The hotel was full, but very quiet and tranquil. We usually had the pool to ourselves. I think this place attracts similar people so even when there were children around, they were always well-behaved. In addition, Reduit Beach was literally across the road - so convenient and so nice. The staff are so friendly too. Just all made for a really plesant, relaxing stay. Exactly what we wanted. Would definitely stay there again.
“Wonderful Hotel”
We spent 4 nights there in early April. Very accomodating staff - they helped make arrrangements for a livery service to fetch us from the airport for the trek to the hotel. The location is ideal - right accross the street from the beach and within walking distance of some very nice restaurants, My only minor comment is that they should make arrangements for guests to be able to print their airline boarding passes for the trip back home. That would be helpful, instead of having to go down the street to do so. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect.
“Perfect for this catagory”
Friendly to the MAX. Special treatment by staff with room decorations and flowers. Secure. Easy to arrange transportation. Ask how to adjust shutters. HUGE bathroom with giant shower (no tub).
“Great small hotel”

“Safe, and Enchanting, a Secret Garden Hotel.”
This is a beautiful hotel with very courteous staff. It is more picturesque than the advertisements. The beach access is right across the street. Our room was beautiful with a large bedroom and sunken living-room/kitchen just off of it with a private outdoor sitting area with a dinning table for 6. Front and back entrances. All rooms have private accesses no big hallways. Lovely pool and gardens. No safety issues as they have a night guard who sits out front all night and patrols the grounds every 15-20 mins, the hotel is also completely gated and the police station is right across the street so anyone will feel safe even if they tend not to be when traveling. We will definitely stay hear again with this great location and fantastic hotel.
“GINGER LILY WAS THE BEST PLACE TO STAY EVER EXPERIENCED!”
Natasha was a real asset to the Ginger Lily and made the difference in our stay being excellent and the true best. I appreciate the hotel, her and all of the people in St. Lucia that were so kind. Thank you
