“Wonderful resort”
St. Maarten is my favorite island - the people are just lovely. The hotel was perfect, I can not say one bad thing about it.
“Best Hotel I have ever stayed in”
This was an unbelievable experience. It was absolutely beautiful, clean and exquisite. All of the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The restaurant, poolside deli and swim-up bar all served up delicious treats. Casino in the lobby was clean and a fun "extra" I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St Maarten.
“Relaxing and enjoyable stay”
Long weekend with my wife and it was a perfect spot. Hotel was wonderful with helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is a bit out of the way, but worth the drive from the airport.
“absolute paradise!!!!”
As an avid traveller, i have visited many hotels. The ocean/pool side area was breath taking, medicine for the soul, truly!! My three girlfriends and i shared 1 room and yet there were enough mirrors and washroom space that we got the job done in style:) The room were spacious, they upgraded us to a ocean front room, the bathrooms were very large. When we checked in, the room had a dirty glass that the maid forgot to pick up. The hotel sent champaign and strawberries for the mistake. The Service was amazing, from the ladies at the check in counter, to the the bartenders, recreational guys by the beach, the waiters in the restaurant. Always smiling and so willing to help. Loved It....will be back to only that hotel on this island!! The food at Ocean restaurant in the hotel was outstanding.
“Great Hotel”
The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful with suggesting places to go and things to do on the island. We initially requested a king room, but was given a double instead. After speaking with the managment staff, they quickly corrected the oversite with a king room with an ocean view. We had a wonderful stay.
“Exceeded all of our expectations!”
The Westin Dawn Beach is a superior property. The oceanfront room was large with a wonderful view of the pool, ocean, and St Bart. There were two chair and a table on the balcony for relaxing. The bath was quite luxurious as well. Everything about the property was in fine condition, and the service was exceptional all around. The pool is very large with many lounge chairs. There is even a bit of shade from the palm trees. The pool chairs tend to fill up in the afternoon, but there are plenty on the beach. The beach is very wide and peaceful; although, the water is rougher than some other Caribbean resorts we have experienced. There was always a very welcome breeze. We used our rental car every day to travel around the island. Mr Busby's is within walking distance, but everything else requires wheels. This was our 3rd trip to St Maarten and the Westin was certainly the nicest property we have seen on the island.
“Beautiful Resort”
Went in June during the off-season. Was upgraded to a two-room, full kitchen suite. Incredible room. Food was excellent. Highly recommend The Westin.
“Great place to unwind...”
We had a great time at the Westin and the hotel was the perfect fit for what we wanted. The beach there is better and less crowded than others we saw on the island. The restaurants are great and the hotel is also close to some others in Oyster Pond. We spent our days lounging around the pool and beach and going to the spa (very nice). A few times we left the hotel to see other parts of the island and it was easy to get around and always nice coming back to a clean hotel with a friendly staff. It is a large American style hotel so that means you will have families and conventions. We were not bothered at all and just plucked our chairs in the sand away from everyone.
“What a view!!”
Loved this hotel and the services. It was a great visit. Wish we could have stayed longer! Service was good. Rooms were great - my kids said "the beds were the best ever"!
“Would go back tomorrow if i could!!”
I loved the hotel, the staff was great as well as the service. Everyone was really nice. The food was awesome, i believe is one of the best hotels i have ever been too.
