“Great location to lifts. Cozy rooms and great service.”
We had 18 people in 4 different apts. and we were all happy with the rooms and the service. The skiers in our party got the shuttle to the gondola but then were able to ski almost all the way back to our building. Pool was outdoor only so we did not use but that was the only disappointment. We also had one elderly person and navigating all the up and down stairways was a challenge; there was no elevator. We would happily go back again.
“Great stay in Steamboat”
The staff at the lodge was very professional and knowledgeable. The condo was very accommodating and the entire lodge was very clean. We cant wait to come back.
“A good value skiers”
A nice place to stay. We stayed in a 2 BR condo. It was a typical 2 br/2ba apartment style condo. Interior was a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable with a good amount of space. Easy shuttle service to wherever you need to go. Market w/in close walking distance. Make sure to check out the lay of the land. It wasn't until our last day that we discovered a VERY easy 3-5 minute walk directly to the gondola & village. If you check your skis on the mountain (which is easily done) you are golden! Very reasonable price for condo that had such easy access to the main part of the mountain.
“Highly recommended”
We were pleasantly pleased with our stay at the Lodge. Close to the mountain-about a 5 minute jaunt. With gear you would want to take the shuttle bus which loops all day every 10 minutes. Super close walk to local market store with delicious fresh foods, sandwiches, locals brews and anything you could need. The hotel staff were pleasant and always helpful and friendly. The condo was clean, spacious and felt very comfortable with a great kitchen, large master and cubbies for skis and outside lockers. Shuttle bus into town with super friendly drivers that cater to those visiting. Awesome restaurants all local. The greatest family weekend for us and our kids!! Going back next year!
“Top Hotel!”
We went for a weekend getaway to celebrate a college graduation! The service is amazing at the lodge; the staff is extremely friendly and willing to make your stay the best. The overall look of the hotel makes you feel at home...Overall, the weekend was perfect and Ill definitely be returning to stay at the lodge again!
“Great place near the Base”
We had a very nice stay at the Lodge. All the staff, from the front desk personnel to bell boy were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Our one bedroom unit had recently been remodeld and was very comfortable. The only thing that would have made it better was to have the second bathroom unlocked for when we had friends visit for dinner. The location was great....just a short walk to the Gondola. Shuttle service was very convenient and easy to use.
“Wonderful Stay”
We rented a single bedroom condo that had a full kitchen. The room had a great setup and was in very very good condition. The staff was awesome and extremely helpful. I not only will stay at this facility again but I would recommend it to anyone that wants a pleasurable trip to Steamboat.
“We want to bring our grandkids”
The Lodge at Steamboat is conveniently located, with wonderful facilities. Our condo had a great view of the mountain, gondola and the beautiful Steamboat landscape. We had magpies in the tree by our window every morning, and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Defintely a ski town and resort we would return to.
“Can't wait to go back”
Will miss the gigantic suite, gorgeous view, not to mention the T-Rex mounted above the fireplace.
“The Lodge at Steamboat”
The staff at the Lodge was so friendly. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to the gondola. There is a market/liquor store about 50 feet away. The bus system is excellent.
