“Met my expectations”
Had a pleasant 3 night break at Aparthotel Bonanza. I didn't really use the hotel for anything other than somewhere to drop my bags, sleep and wash, so cannot comment on the bar or food facilities at the hotel. I paid a really budget price for the hotel and so my expectations were particularly low - however I had no complaints at all during my stay. This hotel is ideally located a very short walk onto the beach and to the nearby shops and bars. If you want a budget hotel which is clean and secure then this perfect.
“was gr8 for the price”
hotel was gr8. much nicer than i expected. v.helpful staff. v.clean room. v.nice sea-view. prime location, literally 3min walk from beach. spar supermarket round the corner so v. convenient. v. regular changing of bedding/towels.didnt try hotel food or use hotel facilities although they looked nice enough, pool looked v.clean. the studio apartment seemed like it had just had a refit especially the bathroom. great value for money. if/when i go back to tenerife i would definitely stay there again. :0)
“Cheap and cheerful hotel - highly recommended!”
Hotel is a 3-star and set out as apartments. All apartments have kitchenette, 2 single beds (i stayed in a twin room), pull-out sofa-bed, dining table, chairs, en suite. The apartment was very clean and was attended to eveyday except Tues and Saturdays. The staff are VERY helpful and speak a min of 3 languages (Spanish, English, German). Had no maintenance problems, Neighbours were fine and there were no problems during the night (e.g. loud music, rowdy guests, etc). Defo worth staying at hotel if on a tight budget.
“Good, clean, basic, well run accommodation”
Just returned after spending short break at Bonanza. Excellent service, very well run hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and staff really friendly and helpful. Decor of hotel is a little tired in some places but all areas were kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Our room (studio) was basic, comfortable and clean. Location good - away from bright lights and noise of main drag of Las Americas but close enough to walk to surrounding resorts. Cheap and cheerful sums it up!
“Cheap and cheerful”
We stayed in a studio and did not use all room facilities except fridge and kettle.Bathroom is a bit on the small side but clean and well kept.Decor is a bit tired and showing signs of wear.Hotel staff are very helpful and no problem is too small for them. Our biggest problem with this hotel was the road noise from a very busy main road and the bus station located directly behind this hotel. The bus reversing alarms will beat any alarm clock in getting you up.However the hotel is well located for getting about, near bus station and is centrally located if you want to walk to los Christianos or at the other end La Caleta.
“For sun and sea on a budget, good for the price!”
Hotel: in the living/dining/bed room, 3 of us shared, 2 sgl bds and the sofabed turned into a decent sgl bd. Room of course bcame small but was still comfortable. Furniture dated but in gd condition. Small TV (never turned on). Kitchenette: incl kettle/ toaster/x2 ring gas hob/fridge, all eating and cooking utensils, wine bottle opener. Bathroom: clean/adequate. Cleaners kept room spotless. Hotel: reception/restaurant staff were fantastic! Funny and attentive. Restaurant food OK, gd lunch/dinner buffett choice. Area: 3/4 mins walk to the beach and tourist restaurants, much better restaurants further away, get to know the staff well and they'll give personal recommendations. Bus station behind hotel (accessed through back gate) also water park. Also: Ask for room on 4th, 5th floor or above so you can see the sea and sunset! 24hrs shop 2 min walk but far better/cheaper SPAR supermaket same distance (always check sell-by-date). If visiting other areas by bus, get Bono pass, reduces ticket cost.
“Average”
Standard is the best way to describe this hotel. Perfect for cheap holidays, not really a 'family' hotel, more for the younger generation to stay although facilities could easily cater for a family. Small range of entertainment on offer. Pool is a relaxed environment, not really for young children due to lack of clothing on other customers bodies, upto your discretion, there is however a smaller pool for children. You will not be in for any nasty suprises - simple, affordable and safe. Major disadvantage - quite a walk from nightlife and beach.
“about Bonanza Studios”
The bonanza is quiet, handy for the bus station and does not appear to have any all inclusive guests. As a result the public areas wer not awash with beer and food. Its an ideal place for independant travellers who like to enjoy themselves and respect other guests rite to peace and quiet. I shall be booking again.
“Noisey”
Everything was good about the hotel as in cleanliness and upkeep the only problem we had was the continuous noise from the neighbours and cleaners as the walls are very thin.
“Good for tight budget families”
Childrens play area was teaming with cockroaches and ants, who were basically eating one another. The pool side was cracked and tiles were missing in the childrens pool, making it unsafe to walk in. The evening entertainments lasted for a max of 30min. The Kitchenette is a hob plate, kettle and toaster with a fridge. The staff were very good and the best feature of this hotel, by far. We had two twin rooms and both were drab in repair, not at all recent refurb.
