I've read some negative reviews of this motel, and I'm not sure who's writing them but from our experience it was great; a 10-minute drive to Tanglewood, clean rooms, functioning tv, etc. I'd spent the previous night in a filthy, smelly room in Bangor Maine and this was like the Ritz in comparison. My one reminder if you're looking for luxury in the Berkshires: this is a motel, not the Hilton, and as motels go it's fabulous.

Easy to find. Gorgeous view of the Berkshires Close to all amenities. Great value if you don't require luxury.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and easily accessable. Only thing would have liked better is carpet held an odor that was unidentifiable but seemed to subside after room was opened up. Friendly staff and was able to take pet which is hard to find.

“Best Room for the Best Price”

I stayed in feb 2006 to ski at jiminy peak. Mtn was about 20 min away. Perfect for someone looking for the CHEAPEST room, that also is clean. For the price I expected to say oh my god look at this dump, but it was hardly that. It was clean-- not spotless, but not dumpy either. Heat worked fast and well, tv had many channels, bathroom was clean--- clean, not spotless. Furniture appeared updated. there was a mini fridge that worked well, and high speed internet access.Rooms spacious. Ski equip fit nicely. Pillows were terrible- flat as boards. Beds only okay, linen reasonable.

“Unexpected hospitality”

Our stay in this hotel was unexpectedly charming. Thanks to the staff, esp. Pinky and William, who went out of their way to accommodate us and make our stay fun and no worry! Will come back to the same place whenever we're in the vicinity!
