“A Good Hotel in Tokyo”
For a business trip, everything was excellent. Staff was polite, prepared and very willing to deal with an adjustment of my length of stay. It was fairly easy to get to a conference site.
“simple functional hotel”
easy to use
“Excellent Hotel, Great service and Friendly staff”
We stayed at the Hotel Grand Palace in Nov 2010 for 7 nights. We had a triple room on 15th floor which accomodated myself, my partner, and 14yr son. Room was spacious enough, clean, very comfortable and serviced daily. Our son enjoyed the free WiFi available in the hotel. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The Hotel is ideally located not more than a 10 min walk to JR Lidabashi station and is a 2min walk to Kudanshita Metro station. There a few Japanese restuarants, 7 Eleven, a McDonalds, Subway and Starbucks Coffee just 3min walk from hotel. This was our 1st trip to Tokyo and we were not sure what to expect .We had read reviews on various hotels and decided to go with The Grand Palace. We had a great holiday and a wonderful stay. Thankyou.
“Impressed”
The hotel was great. Good location downtown, the staff was extremely friendly and extremely helpful. Out time in Tokyo wouldn't have been half as good without the help from their staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“excellent”
The hotel staff was great, courteous and above all very attentive. I needed an iron for the clothes and in less than a minute a room attendant was in my room with the iron, I was very impressed. They offered kimonos and bath robes for your use throught your stay there. I also liked the fact that the rooom fits 5 people so I did not have to get two rooms which is the case when I go to other countries. the hotel is in a great location, close to the metro and to restaurants also walking distance to the Imperial Palace. I will definetly stay here again on my next trip to Tokio. For a shopping experience go to the Harajuku distric it is cheaper than the Ginza distric great place to people watch .
“Warm and helpful staff.”
Great Hotel in center of Tokyo - Could not ask more for the money. Staff is very patient with English speaking guests. Staff takes time to make sure they accommodate your needs in an efficient manner.
“Good Value for the Price”
We stayed at the Hotel Grand Palace as an extension of a tour and were very pleased with the setup. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and addressed our every need immediately. The rooms are large by Japan standards and very clean. Seems that most Japanise hotels have beds that are hard but this one was quite comfortable. We also took advantage of the breakfast in the mornings and foud it to be a good varity of Americal and Japanies mix. It was interesting to try some of the local food along w/ our staples. Enjoyed our stay and would go back when we visit Tokyo again.
“Affordable and Comfortable”
All staff were pleasant and engaging in both Japanese and English. Check-in was expedient and check-out took all of 10 seconds. The room was VERY clean and spacious for the price. Hotel restaurant also very good.
“Would go back anytime”
Hotel Grand Palace is really well situated, with easy walking distance to access the sub-way (about 50 meters) and JR train lines (about 500 meters). The staff were always ready to provide assistance, tour information, brochures and DIY maps. The room was always clean when we returned from each days sight-seeing. The in-house restaurants we tried were excellent and the cocktail bar on the 23rd floor had amazing views and a very comprehensive cocktail list. The rooms were well equipped, the curtains blocked out the light if a sleep-in was needed and they were quiet. Great place to stay.
“Nice hotel”
Hotel was very nice and the staff was great.
