“we want to go back!”
i was most impressed by the attentive and helpful staff. from maids to the women behind the desk, everyone was helpful and friendly. we had to ask for a room change since our first one had ants on the terrace. our second room was even nicer than the first. ( what nice tile) we had to ask alot of question, directions, etc .and they were always patient with us. the food in our hotel was very good and had a nice variety (we had breakfast and dinner in our plan). the beach was well kept and clean, as well. we totally enjoyed ourselves.
“It's a paradise, but...”
This is a very nice place to stay, and it represents excellent value, given that a buffet breakfast and dinner are thrown into the rates. The staff are crisp, always supervised, and really ultra-serious about what they do. They are also cleanliness freaks. Always tidying up, it's impossible for a germ to dwell in this paradise for long before being snuffed. A family atmosphere, there are numerous babies and doting parents, but no crying. Even the Pee Wees behave themselves. Right on the beach, with a well kept path for jogging next to the sand, this location is an an hour and 15 minute boat and bus ride away from Venice. OK-here's the BUT...The plumbing in the rooms is so LOUD it can and will make your teeth rattle, and I'm talking about the neighbors' fixtures! Once or twice we thought we we're inside their showers. Plus, the maids virtually kick you out (by ringing your doorbell) around 8:30 a.m. and there are no Do Not Disturb signs to be found. The rooms are small, Spartan, and the TV is at such a level near the tall ceiling that you'll crane your neck to watch it. Still, get this, I would recommend this hotel for overall value and service.
“Very nice hotel”
Hotel was very nice, although the rooms need updating (for example, floors had many cracked tiles). Metal shutters on terrace doors kept out the morning sun and rooms had fridges. Rooms were cleaned well and most employees were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner buffets, for Europe, were very good. Good area for kids-nice beaches, activities, restaurants. Not enough lounges at pool area.
“Would stay here again”
This is a nice hotel. We stayed 9 nights at half board. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast and dinner were excellent. A nice hotel with good facilities in a nice location.
