“5 night stay”
Excellent Hotel
“Something new in an old city”
This hotel has just been renovated and they did a good job with it. There is good internet and good breakfast and a sunbed but they do cost, they're not inclusive. When it says gym it is 4 or 5 cardio machines-no weights. It's a good, clean, functional, comfortable place to stay.
“Falkensteiner Vienna”
I was very impressed with this hotel. It is relatively close to the centre of the city, the staff are very helpful, and the room's are very comfortable. I did not take breakfast at the hotel, as 19 euros was a little but more than I wanted to pay, however, I'm sure it is worth every penny :) The hotel has a bar which is open daily until midnight and this can be a good place to pick up travel/sightseeing tips. Overall this a pleasant pleace from which to explore Vienna- recommended!
“Great hotel!”
I enjoyed this hotel. The room was not as small as some hotels I have stayed at in Europe, it was actully roomy. It was very clean and modern and had a wonderful breakfast buffett. It was not right in the middle of all of the sights, but it was close enough that I simply walked to what I wanted to see or I walked to a Metro station. I will stay here again in the future.
“A Great home away from home”
The hotel is very clean and the breakfast was great! :-) the desk crew is helpful and the wait staff is very attentive. Ill come back again.
“Great Hotel”
The staff was very friendly, food was great and a chocolate on our pillow every morning! It was in a really neat artists neighborhood where you can find great restaurants where the locals eat. The walk to the museum quarter was easy but if you weren't up to eat there is a nus half a block away!
“Wonderful 3-night stay”
Good location, with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were quiet and clean, with a spacious and modern bathroom.
“Great hotel in a developing area of Vienna”
Have just returned from a four night stay at this excellent hotel. A ten minute walk from Westbauhnhof station in a street littered with excellent restaurants, cafes and shops. Our room was on the third floor by the lift and so we were a little concerned that we would be disturbed - there must be excellent soundproofing as we heard very lttle at all. Beautiful bathroom and good sized room. My only comment would be that the room lacked tea and coffee making facilities. Lots of choice at breakfast - try the pancakes, fresh fruit and delicious breads! Turn left out of the hotel and a ten minute walk will take you to Mariahilfer and the shops. Turn right out of the hotel and left after the vegetarian restaurant and you're ten minutes from the museum quarter. To shop we would stay in Neubergasse area as it's full of dedicated shops and excellent cafes - try Aida (a chain but fascinating interior design and excellent coffee and cakes). I Terroni, a five minute walk from the hotel, is a lovely Italian restaurant. Having been to Norway last year we expected Austria to be as expensive - it wasn't! Did lots of shopping in preparation for Christmas. Vienna and Am Schottenfeld were a great choice.
“Nice hotel, Nice price.”
Very nice, very modern hotel, about a 5-10 minute walk from the Stadhalle, perfect if attending a concert there. Very good buffet breakfast. Nice Irish pub on the corner too.
