"The property is a 2 min walk to the train station! Which is amazing if you’re forgetting to pack anything! Starbucks, pharmacy, clothes, books the works. The area around the train station/walk to hotel was daunting at first due to lots of homeless people. However there was a strong police presence around-so I felt safe as a solo traveller. Hotel was clean and staff were extremely friendly! "

"The stay here was exactly what we were looking for. A very convenient 2 block walk from the Termini to hop on any train we needed and didn’t need to drag our luggage far. Within walking distance to the Colosseum and many restaurants. The bed was quite hard, felt more like a box spring, but the room itself served its purpose. A place to leave our stuff and sleep as we were out all day exploring the city. Staff were helpful and spoke English as well. "

"Oue stay was beyond expectations! We only wanted a place to sleep for our 14hour lay-over in Rome, and we had a resort-style accomodation with less than 100 euros! My hubby and I can't believe it. Steven was amazing. His instructions were on point. By the morning, our shuttle was waiting for us infront of the hotel. We definitely recommend this to all!"

"My wife.and I were seeking a hotel close to the train station and I read a number of unsettling Expedia reviews about other hotels in the area.To our delight, none of the complaints I read about for hotels in the area were valid for the Columbia Hotel.
