Top Acklam Village Market Hotel Reviews
London House Hotel
8/10 Good
"Nice cozy place to stay. Our room needed some work - tiles cracked in the shower, sink cracked, paint peeling in places but it was clean. The location was easy to walk to places to eat, public transportation, and places to shop."
Ruby Zoe Hotel London by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Great to have air-conditioning during the heat wave"
Wedgewood Hotel
8/10 Good
"I'd spent a lot on events for a birthday weekend in London, so I picked a budget hotel to save some money. I had checked reviews on booking websites, which were all fairly good. But then I saw the negative reviews on Google and my heart sank. But I needn't have worried - the room was clean and appointed well enough. It was on the basement level which proved a bonus as it was cooler and quieter than we expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. Its very conveniently located too. Yes it wasnt the Ritz, but then I didn't expect it to be. Overall, we were pleased with this hotel and would recommend it if youre not looking for luxury, but a clean, quiet room."
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London - Hyde Park
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean and check in was very easy."
Princes Gardens
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice environment, close to all museums, Hyde Park, South Kensington tube. Spar mini mart close by. Pleasently surprised considering it's Student accomodation."
Hilton London Metropole
10/10 Excellent
"A great choice for getting around the city — extremely close to both Edgware Road and Paddington stations, which made it easy to hop to different parts of London. The hotel itself is huge, with a great lobby bar and multiple food options right there, so you're never far from a good meal or drink after a day out. The rooms and showers were clean throughout, and staff at every turn were hospitable, helpful, and friendly, which made the stay even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-connected, comfortable base in London."
Hilton London Kensington

"Lovely Hotel, great location Room clean Only disappointed that there was no bath ."
The Porchester Hotel
8/10 Good
"We stayed here for a week. The staff here are professional . They are always smiling and made us feel welcomed. I would give this place a 5 star based on the hospitality and the breakfast. The breakfast was English breakfast. It came with with cereal, milk, juices, tea, coffee, pastries, sausage, scrambled eggs, hardboiled eggs, toast, cucumber, tomato, beans, bacon, sautéed mushroom, butter, and jam. It was good, we enjoyed breakfast. There's water refill all day and coffee/ tea all day. The room was spacious, we had a queen size bed. The room had a working AC. There was a coffee maker, hot water boiler, and hair dryer. There are bottled lotion, shampoo, and conditioner along with mini bar of soap. I'm not too keen on the shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash comb (bring your own). There is also a mini fridge. Note: In order to turn on appliances you'd need to flip a switch to where the appliance is plugged in. Since it has been humid hot in London, please keep the room cool and food in the fridge, things get moldy quick. The reason why I gave this a 4 star and not a 5 is the room. The bed was very soft, possibly lumpy. The pillows were not too comfortable. The walls were thin, we were able to hear our neighbors. We were able to sleep but if they came back late, we heard it. Lastly, the location of this hotel was perfect. It is near subways, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. It is also across the street from Kensington Park. I highly recommend staying here!"
La Suite West - Hyde Park
8/10 Good
"The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and spacious (junior suite). Breakfast choice was great and fresh, only downside was that there was no barista coffee or cooked breakfast (they did have boiled eggs and warm pastries however). A couple of issues with electricity going off and cooling not working but it was fixed quickly. Very convenient location and close to shops and transport. The reception organised affordable transfers /private driver to our next acccomodation. Highly recommend this hotel for any type of traveller."
