"A real secret gem. Quiet, but just a short drive to Deland. Attractive lakefront; fishing and boating. We needed separate bedrooms and this was a great option. Cheaper than two rooms at other hotels, and simpler. We were looking for a quiet getaway in the area, and this was perfect."

"The place was dirty and unsafe. Was harassed by the staff and the overall experience was the worst I have had at a hotel. There are sketchy hotels and then there is one, I did not even stay the night. I chose to drive home at 2 am after an exhausting day vs staying there. This is not a safe establishment on all accounts. "

"My spouse and I stayed for the weekend for our wedding anniversary and we were in awww with the property. So beautiful and comfortable. The owners are super nice and I just love how she tells the story of the history of the home and surrounding town. The room was more than amazing with its own bathroom with a jet tub and balcony We didn’t get to experience any of the amenities such as their Tavern bar they promote nor were they serving breakfast due to electrical issues which is understandable....
