"Loved the location and excellent customer service from the staff. Room was small as expected as we had 3 single beds. No sitting area or shelves. Appreciated having new PJs every day and free mineral water. Would be nice if the water was placed in the fridge. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap all had a very nice calming scent. No soap in the separate toilet which was odd. No on-site laundry available."

"Right next to subway, easy to get to, lovely rooms. Laundry washers get busy, only issue is with people not emptying machines on time and staff wait 30mins before emptying. Time should be shortened to 10mins max."

"Bed was extremely comfortable. So quiet we didn’t hear anything. Laundry facilities a bonus. Onsen open 5 am was lovely. Fridge in room and hotpot with coffee and tea provided. Slippers and pjs to wear to onsen. Excellent location. Totally recommend."

"This was by far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The complimentary shuttle from Kyoto station is great. The staff are superior, we felt very welcome and relaxed here. The rooms are spacious and clean. The amenities are great: gym, pool etc. we took a taxi on days we went sightseeing and it was inexpensive depending where you go. There is a small family mart in the basement of the hotel (limited selection). The hotel food is expensive so keep that in mind when you are planning thinking about food. Otherwise amazing hotel with top notch service."
