First Timer
The team there are great, really helpful. Sadly the beds aren't the most comfortable; the pillows & mattresses are incredibly thin.. I only slept around 2hrs (albeit there was a lot of noise from outside all night since the windows were open). This was my time in a hostel so I'm sure more experienced users can overcome the short comings. The local is great, directly opposit a Weatherspoons, on the harbour side.

Great place to stay in Bristol. Exceptionally positioned, with so much of the city within walking distance. The real highlight (aside from the top notch breakfast) was the staff - Tom and Leah were an object lesson in how to raise a very practical and handy place to stay into a really good experience. Leah's curry tip was especially worthwhile!

Very basic room but clean and comfortable bed Ideal for a short stay. Easy check inn Staff friendly and welcoming Good Breakfast to set you up for the day. Located in a fantastic area on the river front.will definitely use again

Surprisingly comfy bed for a hostel! Great location, fast check in. Only complaint is the plug points on our bed didn’t work.

Hello, Thank you for the review. I am sorry to hear the plug point wasn't working. We do have plug sockets on the walls in each room, in addition to the bed sockets. Great service & value for money
Such a welcoming relaxed place, clean, great staff, comfortable beds, clean dorms. Although the lift was broken, I requested help with my suitcase up and down the stairs and staff were super helpful. Great cafe with great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Make sure you get en-suite private room if you want it. Room was hot, fair bit of noise from corridors. Hotel in good location. Could have done without early morning fire alarm due to someone showering with door open…

Great place to stay. Only complaint is the noise of the V Shed pubs but there wasn't much they could do about that. Overall, I'd recommend, best to buy ear plugs for weekends though.

I booked a quadruple ensuite room. It had inadequate ventilation which meant that it wasn't only suffocating but also pretty darn hot inside the room. Furthermore, there was no WiFi access in the room. What's worse is that unlike other YHAs, we were told to pay a deposit for spare keys. Quite a disappointing experience, definitely not worth it.

This is not a cost-effective option- you're better off paying more and staying in a hotel. Place smells of pine disinfectant and is somewhat run down. Single rooms are very small, get too warm to sleep in properly and have no chair. No curtain on skylight or any way to block light coming in. Far, far too expensive for what it is. That goes for the breakfast, too.
