"Overall, the experience of staying at a Marriott property was unfortunately compromised at this location. As a vegetarian guest paying for breakfast, I was disappointed by the lack of consideration for vegetarian options. Nearly all the Thai breakfast selections were catered primarily to non-vegetarian guests. The stir-fried vegetable section was soggy, so I requested the chef to prepare a small fresh portion. At the time, the kitchen staff were cutting raw mangoes, yet my request for a simple mango salad was declined. It was strange to experience that, in Thailand, being a vegetarian seemed to mean missing out on authentic Thai breakfast options. The chefs declined requests without offering alternatives. This was unlike any other Marriott experience I’ve had, as no Marriott property behaves so skirmish on an dish or two… respecting eating choices… and I hope the property takes feedback like this seriously to ensure better inclusivity and hospitality for vegetarian guests."

"The location was beautiful, the rooms were perfect, but what made this resort so great was the service! When an electrical breaker malfunctioned in our room, Dream, Siam, and their manager, Yao, went above and beyond our expectations! They made sure that our stay was special. The breakfast buffet each morning was very nice. The fire show on the beach (free for guests) was awesome. And the onsite restaurant had a good variety of food, and it was nice to sit on the patio and watch the ocean waves. The next time we are in Thailand, this will be the place we stay!"

"The hotel was very unique! The staff were helpful, plenty of room to chill out and they had games. Room was very nice- it had a balcony and the bathroom was a decent size- it was also clean. Air conditioning worked perfectly which was great on the really hot nights, the only small issue is that the room are quite dark but other than that would stay here again!"

"Wonderful staff, excellent food, everything was perfect except the beach. We found the amount of trash disappointing and in total contrast to the rest of the resort. Obviously you can only keep up so much when things wash up every day but there was a fair amount of trash located along the edge/in the trees which the tide clearly does not reach."

"We had a great time during our stay at Vedranda resort. Personally for me, the staff stood out the most. They really do go above & beyond for you. It wouldn’t be fair to mention particular names as they were all great. Yes,I highly recommend this resort. What is there not to love, excellent food, stunning scenery, clean rooms & polite, kind, humble staff who actually want to talk to you with a smile. They all deserve a pay rise for their hard work. Best holiday ever, I was sad to leave. 😢 "
