"I’ve been to many hotels in Mexico, The velas did not disappoint. As far as the resort I would go back every year. We went as a family with about 10kids total, this is a definitely older crowd who gave the kids crusties when they splash them with a ball or screamed too loud. There were a few families and the family atmosphere is great! Very accommodating to large groups at dinner and always taking care of us. "

"Pictures do not match reality, room turned out to be a detached property inside the resort that was in disrepair. Probably built in the 80’s with no upgrades or repairs since then, water leak in the bathroom, closet doors falling apart"

Found our room on the 4th floor on the inside area very noisy at night with the shows on. Would choose an outside room if we returned "
