The hotel is situated on a fantastic private beach. The hotel service is one of the best we have exerienced, friendly, competent professional and helpful. The rooms are spacious and compfortable, situated a little way up the mountain from the beach.

In all my travels around the world for years, this is the first hotel that i have experienced all the staff giving warm, hospitable smiles and greetings whenever you walk by them, irregardless of what their job is or they are doing. From the pick up at the airport to the time that we left, I really enjoyed the excellent service, facilities and hospitality in this classy beach resort hotel.

The place is very privacy and quiet. Perhaps breakfast served can be earlier perhaps at 7.30am. Overall this place is highly recommended. Will definitely come back again.

This property is really one of its kind, nothing commercialised about it. My mom really enjoyed the scenery and how peaceful it is here, it’s great for a relaxing vacation to just take your mind off things back home. It is the definition of slow living here, and learning to appreciate and be in tune with the beautiful surroundings and unique heritage houses. Bonus point being that there are MANY estate cats here who are very friendly and happy to lounge with us in our room everyday. Loved it...

The hype is true: the suites are amazing. Things went perfect from pick up at arrival, bringing us to a luxury private transport that whisked us to the resort with water and cookies ready in the car. Arrival at the resort and check-in were smooth and professional thanks to the great care taken by the very kind Farhana, as well as later Adie. Staff are all friendly.. Place is clean & accommodative. Love the ambience.. the only thing for myself is the tv channel doesnt have much movie channels like eg HBO & all.. Spa quite expensive.. Swimming hours till from 8am - 8pm quite short for the end time.. toilet bathing area water keeps choking which manually i have to adjust the drainage water input & lastly the toilet bowl of only having the bidet system is quite a hassle as it would better to have the bidet spray would be much easier to...

Great stay

The Westin is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are modern,clean and comfortable. We loved the bed and slept very well. The food is excellent. We really enjoyed the seafood and the breakfast buffet especially. The staff can't do enough for you and are very approachable. There are a few pools, a lovely pool bar and enough loungers around the place. There was so much to do in Langkawi, we wished we could have stayed longer. We did jet ski, parasail, mangrove tour and cable car.

Very large rooms at reasonable prices. Business suite is very conducive even for meetings if need be. Most amenities are provided in the room and others may be available upon request. Only caveat is that there are many switches in the room including those that power the air conditioner and the water heater and it is not easy to figure out what is for what.
