"We truly enjoyed our staying in Pousada Alfama, this charming boutique hotel located right in walkable, the oldest, most atmospheric, vibrant and cultural districts. We are very impressed by this boutique hotel’s beauty, elegant design, warm inviting atmosphere, the cozy lovely garden, the healthy and delicious breakfast. Most of all we are very thankful to the exceptional, standout warm services we received. Staff members are ready to assist with any requests, whether it’s a bottle of my new found love liqueur in Portugal, or helping us navigate our way around the city. No words are adequately enough to express our heartfelt gratitude, especially to the marvellous, attentive manger Rita, the talented chef Joana, the lovely competent receptionist Caroline! And to all the other staff as well for delivering a personalized, intimate experience. Our visit in August in Lisbon is so so memorable and unforgettable!!"

"We stayed at the Edwina cosmopolitan Lodge on the first leg of our trip to Portugal. We spent the first four nights in Lisbon. We loved this hotel! The location was fantastic, the staff was friendly and helpful. After touring around the country and a few nights in Porto we spent our last night back at the Esqina Cosmopolitan. The staff welcomed us back as if we were old friends. We would happily stay at the Edqina cosmopolitan Lodge again - highly recommend!"

"The staff helped us secure a day trip to Sintra that really made the trip memorable. Everyone was friendly and really made us feel welcome. They even helped us book our train tickets to Porto! I really enjoyed the location and charm of this hotel. We did the breakfast every morning and I thought the food was great. Eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection. The waffles and pancakes were sweet and tasty. Fresh fruit, pastries, and fresh juices were available every morning. Alfama really comes alive once the sun goes down. Lots of cafes and restaurants appear out of nowhere! Note: the area is SUPER HILLY and VERY STEEP! But that’s part of the charm 😄 I was traveling with 4 people who are 70+, they struggled walking around the cobbled streets of Alfama."
