"Property in excellent location, close to parking, restaurants, stores. Walkable distance to castle, praca do comercio etc. The only downside was the smell from outside where the kitchen was. "

"This is a fabulous hotel. It’s spotlessly clean, the bedroom was lovely, the breakfast incredible and the staff are amazing, so helpful and attentive. The Guest Service Manager, Pedro Falcao, was sensational. I have never been to a hotel where someone goes out of their way so much to be helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Pedro is an outstanding advert for an outstanding hotel. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is located to main attractions. The free breakfast was excellent. The restaurants have GREAT views. The rooftop is a must go for the vibe, music, and beautiful views. Everyone at the hotel is super helpful. We were having an issue with the AC and it was taken care of right away. Thank you Hotel Mundial!"

Solar Do Castelo, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

"Let me just start off by saying that this was a truly special stay. Staff absolutely wonderful, property is spectacular and it's truly a romantic type of vibe - besides, how often do you get to say you stayed in a castle or that you got to eat breakfast with Peacocks? That being said, please be advised that the property is all the way on the top of the castle grounds and is not accessible by uber. If you want to walk, get ready to get your steps in - 'it's all uphill from here' became our tag line when we were returning to the hotel each night after dinner or drinks. I would not recommend this property to anyone requiring special disability services unless you plan to take an official taxi every time you need to leave or return to the property. Staff will happily help you with ordering a cab but it does add up. All in all, we would definitely stay there again - it's really got that special something and all of the staff were truly wonderful. 10/10 for being such a unique experience and truly living up to it's expectations!"

"The property was very central to everything. The courtyard in the front with the Famous Panda wall Artwork was fabulous to enjoy breakfast or drinks. The ocean view from the patio was beautiful, if your room faced the front this was your view. We had the room in the back with a larger sitting area on the first floor. Quieter on the back side. There was complimentary coffee and water 24hrs a day. We would definitely return and stay at Pousada Alfama again. "
