"Wonderful little gem of a hotel within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff was amazing and helped arrange a car for us to the airport and gave an awesome dinner recommendation at Altar, 5 minutes away. Our WiFi didn’t work in the room but it wasn’t a problem. The room was a spacious 2 story room with sofa bed downstairs. Keep that in mind when booking as the bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are narrow and could be tricky in the dark, there are single story rooms available as well."

"The photos of the types of bedroom on both the hotel's website and Expedia's are misleading, and we were initially put in a room that the hotel claimed was a Superior River View Plus, but, despite a view of the river, felt small and did not have the larger balcony as shown in the photo. It was in the roof, and felt much more like a Mansarda room (the rooms in the "attic"). However, following my complaint about this, we were put in what we were told was another Superior River View Plus but this was on the floor below and felt more spacious and was the same as the photo. After this initial glitch, our only other criticism of this otherwise beautiful hotel was the fact that there were no tea/coffee-making facilities in the bedrooms. There is a coffee machine on the ground floor that guests can use free of charge, but if you're looking forward to a coffee in bed as you wake up, it's not very practical. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again. "

"Great location right next to Liberedade Avenue. Walking distance from all the restaurants and has excellent places nearby to eat and shop. Fabulous stay with a pool view and a lovely bar. Felt quite at home with the kitchenette and feels like an informal resort more than the usual hotel which was nice. Definitely recommend it and perfectly located. Staff were efficient and super clean rooms. "

"Wonderful hotel. Parking is challenging as it is not on the property. If you come in from the northwest side you have a ten minute drive to get to the offsite parking. It is very close to the East side of the hotel."
