"Amazing dinner in the hotel restaurant. The Wagyu beef was melt in your mouth fantastic. Great wine. The private onsen was perfect and so relaxing at the end of the night. Super comfortable bed and spacious room. Wish I had booked two nights. My only complaint is the coffee in the room is more espresso style and I love a big hearty cup of coffee in the morning. The hotel doesn’t offer coffee in the lobby which is a bummer. We didn’t add breakfast just because we don’t usually do breakfast. Great hotel, would definitely stay here again. "

"The family room we had was perfect for the 5 of us ( 2 adults and 3 school age children). Very spacious. Loved the private hot tub. Loved the dinner buffet. And how can you not love the view. Highly recommend. "

"A wonderful traditional ryokan. Clean, with private onsens you can use twice per day (or more). Very friendly staff. Highly recommend! Tip: take a taxi from the train station, it is a 15 min walk but very uphill. Also, for fine dining you can walk 10 minutes to the Hyatt that has two nice restaurants incl. sushi. "

"The rooms are small for our family of 4, so I decided to book another room. They are so nice to put our rooms on the same floor even if it is a last minute additional room booking. The breakfast is really good and healthy. The area is close to the bridge where you can see the beautiful Mt Fuji unless it is cloudy. There’s bike rental close to the hotel and you can bike in the area esp to the bridge. My family enjoyed our stay in the hotel. "
