Fuji Yamanakako Hotel

Fuji Yamanakako Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Nice quiet place, traditional Japanese room in which you pull out the futon and blankets out for each person to sleep on the floor. They provided bathrobes, slippers and all the usual amenities. It was fun for the family to experience a traditional Japanese hotel room. They got a kick out of moving the furniture around and throwing down the futons. Good location as it's right across from the lake with a 7-11 store within a few mins walk. I recommend this place for families."

"Visited with my family recently. It’s a family owned property, excellent service and very friendly staff. Owners went above and beyond at every opportunity, including dropping 7 of us with luggage at nearby bus stop. Breakfast was yummy and thank you for accommodating our vegetarian request!! Enjoyed Ryokan with traditional night wear too ! We would highly recommend this wonderful place at foothills in Mt. Fuji with Lake Yamanakako lake in walkable distance."

"The hotel was great value for money. Rooms were clean, and offered either a view of Mt Fuji or of Lake Yamanaka, and both were great. The hotel was in a great location, and was in walking distance of a number of restaurants. The area was quiet and had a small country town feel."

THE DAY POST GENERAL GLAMPING VILLAGE

THE DAY POST GENERAL GLAMPING VILLAGE

10/10 Excellent
"If you are looking for a wonderful unique experience in Japan, you have to stay here, the pods themselves are incredible for the room you get within them and the amenities that are provided. The bath rooms were exceptional however the best thing has to be the staff. Their friendliness and attentiveness is second to none that I’ve ever experienced. Whilst using one of their hire bikes I accidentally broke the lock so they drove 20 mins to pick me up and told me they would fix it and not to worry. As I was leaving to the bus stop I was heading to the incorrect stop so the man came down in his car to pick me up and drove me to the correct stop. Thank you so much and if i return to Japan I will 100% return here again"
