"We LOVED our experience here. We booked the ryokan experience which includes dinner and private onsen in our room. We had booked a western room with comfy western beds. The dinner was fabulous but it wasn’t clear that it’s served in your room. We would have preferred either a group setting or a more traditional table setting (the western room has a table and chairs). The in-room onsen was a real treat, but the property’s onsen was also impressive. We didbthe larger one at night, and then the rooftop one alternates between males and females so we did it in the morning. There is a drum show at night in the lobby which was fun. Also the souvenir shop was stocked well. We had a great time!"

"We stayed first night elsewhere but needed a hotel closer to the bus station for the second night. This hotel was perfect for that. In fact, the highway express bus stop is in their parking lot. The hotel is also convenient for the theme park but we only walked around that (lines are LONG). They also have a few stores and restaurants in the hotel, or connected to the theme park. Room was smaller than expected but clean. Breakfast was great and worth buying in our purchase - it also had a fabulous view of Mt Fuji in the morning. Only downside was the Onsen access. It’s a public Onsen (not just hotel guests) which after our resort experience the night before was too much hassle (and more strict about clothing and tattoos) "

"We booked this hotel very close to our travel and were skeptical due to it’s isolated location. Our stay was wonderful, staff is very kind and helpful. Shuttle service makes it breeze to go back and forth to town. Location is very scenic and has good trails. We were lucky to get sunny morning and were able to clearly see majestic Mt. Fuji from the hotel. We will definitely recommend and use this place when return to the area. "
