"Péssima. Me colocaram em um quarto sem janelas, sem ar condicionado, sem ventilador, sem qualquer ventilação, com cheiro de mofo muito forte e baratas. Pingou água do teto no chão, ao lado da cama. Paguei 03 noites e só consegui ficar 01, com muito esforço. Acho que foi a pior experiência em hostel já reservada por aqui "

Find out more about Golden Triangle

About the Golden Triangle

The Golden Triangle in Kuala Lumpur is a large area encompassing a number of major streets and it is known as Kuala Lumpur’s commercial, shopping and entertainment centre. It is a vibrant, bustling area filled with shopping malls, skyscrapers, world-class hotels and entertainment venues plus upmarket bars and eateries.

Don’t Miss

A definite must-visit is the Menara KL Tower. Along with the Petronas Twin Towers it is easily Malaysia’s most recognisable and popular landmark. The tower stands at 421 metres and has a viewing deck offering visitors magnificent views of the city. The Menara KL also boasts a revolving restaurant giving diners a 360-degree view of the city.

Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is a 100-year-old forest reserve and is the only remaining tropical rainforest in the heart of the city. It is an ideal place to relax for those looking to experience something a little less hectic. Visitors should combine a visit to Bukit Nanas Forest reserve with one to Menara KL Tower as the these two attractions are in close proximity to each other.

Restaurants and Bars

Visitors to the Golden Triangle will not be disappointed with the vast array of restaurants, bars and dining choices available. Bukit Bintang is more renowned for its bustling nightlife scene. It also boasts a satisfying range of restaurants and eateries that cater for all tastes. The buildings in this area are unique in that they used to be pre-war colonial shop-houses that have been refurbished and turned into upmarket pubs and restaurants, most of which serve Western food. For those looking for live music, an upmarket trendy nightclub like Frangipani or an opulent rooftop bar like Rootz will suit.

Shopping

With more than nine shopping malls within a four-kilometre distance of each other, the Golden Triangle is a haven for the avid shopper. For those looking for luxury, Starhill Gallery and Pavilion KL are the best spots for Gucci, Hermes and Louis Vuitton and other designer names. Kenanga Wholesale City boasts over 800 stores selling clothes and accessories, while Low Yat Plaza is the place to go for all things tech-related.
