"Our family stayed at Grand Mercure for 4 nights last week. Good experience overall. I opted for their breakfast buffet for all 4 days and it's totally worth it. They had quite a variety in the food and we loved it. We used the pool on one occasion and it was decent. Both the shower rooms were out of Body wash. They could do better in this area. Room service could be improved a little bit as well. We had to call the reception and request room service. But like I said good experience overall and I would recommend the place for anyone. Especially for the location - Jalan Alor food Street is walkable and Berjaya Times Square is only few minutes away."

"my week long stay in Melia KL was MEMORABLE as one of the best! The rooms were well appointed, spacious and had pillow options aside from being clean! It was quite comfortable since it had all the amenities including a tub which i used a couple of evenings. The roofdeck bar on the 18th Floor... PHENOMENAL VIEW! So worth staying there to have a nightcap on the 18th. We were there every night. Wonderful place! And it was a perfect venue to make wonderful memories specially with back drop of KL Tower and Petronas! Breakfast had a good spread. Has the tendency to get busy but staff were helpful! And the service was good specially at the M2 level with Aaron taking the helm for the afternoon cocktails! He was attentive and made sure we were comfortable! The welcome drink - Pandan water with lychee was DIVINE! All in all it was a great hotel experience in spite of it being a very short uphill climb to Bukit Bintang! But all in all AWESOME experience! Will return!"

"We had a wonderful stay at The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel. The staff at the reception, concierge, and housekeeping were all exceptionally helpful, friendly, and prompt in providing excellent service. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also offers complimentary afternoon snacks and drinks daily from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, which was a lovely and much-appreciated touch. The location is excellent, with many shopping malls, restaurants, and cafés all within walking distance, making it very convenient to explore the Bukit Bintang area. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit."

"Located in a great area that is within the heart of Bukit Bintang. Breakfast is wonderful & tasty. We were staying in the club lounge room & the club floor is dining & drinks are a great value. Only thing that could have been better is if the mattress could have had a topper on it as it has seen better days. Pillows were to die for & the bathrobe & towels were of a very good quality."
