"Staying here was such an enjoyable, relaxing, and special experience. The breakfast and dinner kaiseki were delicious and allowed us to try a variety of Japanese dishes. It's a lot of food so come to each meal hungry. All the staff we interacted with were kind and very helpful. The indoor and outdoor onsen was the perfect way to unwind after long days exploring the Hakone area. It's also right across from the Horai-en Hakone bus stop if using the Hakone free pass to get around. If you're looking for a romantic and relaxing mountain retreat, this is a great place for you! "

"This property is absolutely stunning and the hospitality of the staff was practically unmatched during the rest of our trip. "We booked the condominiums as a treat. Spacious by Japanese standards with two large single beds, large sofa and kitchen facilities. Highlight is the bathroom with your private “onsen” the bath runs constantly with warm water from the hot springs. Divine after a long day. Coffee machines, soda machines, ice pops, foot bath, fire pit and free whisky, sangria and beer from 7pm - 10pm with some small sweet treats. A short flat stroll from Gora station makes this a perfect place to stay to explore the Hakone area."
