"Lovely hotel, rooms and views. Very accommodating, for a price. Comparatively expensive for the other places we stayed in Japan, but they were excellent. Designed to be a resort, it is unnecessary to leave the property but they made everything in the area very easy to access. Common area and restaurants were very pleasant spaces to relax. "

Amazing place with lovely people that staff it, we enjoyed being able to book the private onsen for half hour on the first night and although we couldn’t book it for the second (no times suitable as we had a early morning check out) we got to try their public onsen which was great too. "The apartments are a good size. The rooms are clean and there is plenty of bedding. The kitchen is clean and stocked with cooking supplies. There is a washing machine in the room which is nice. The location is very convenient for taking public transit and visiting the local attractions."

"A very peaceful location with traditional lovely Japanese breakfast and dinner. The onsen was convenient as it was next to our room. We had a slight issue at night as there were many fire safety lights and these disturbed me on the first night. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and fixed the issue for our second night. "The overall hotel is built upon a much older building. In general, it was very nice but the room I had (1st floor) was dated and very worn looking. Carpets were worn and spotted (by who knows what) which made them look dirty and unkempt. Wallpaper was lifting in places. All the furnishings were scuffed and marred.
